GRRRRR....So, I just got an email that Continental changed our outgoing flight time from 1:35pm to 12:25pm for our trip in September and I have an 8am ADR at Crystal Palace the morning we leave. Am I going to have to cancel my ADR? I know that the flight time might change again over the next 5 months, but I'm so upset that they moved our flight up and added a late afternoon flight (leaving around 5:45pm) that I would have scheduled had it been available when I booked our trip. Is there any way that we'll be able to keep our ADR and still make it back for the ME at All Star Sports? :sad1:

I am going to have say No, you will not make it. ME picks you up 3 hours (sometimes 4) before your flight is scheduled to leave. So they could potentially pick you up between 8:25 and 9:25. If your ADR is at 8, you have to eat, meet the characters - who are slow at CP, then take a bus back to All Star? I would not risk it.

If it makes you feel better, I would not have risked it leaving at the 1:35 departure. We have an ADR for Cape May at 7:35 on our departure day and our flight leaves at 1:10 and we are even staying at the Beach Club and I am a little concerned about making it out to meet ME on time. We should be fine but that is only because we are staying at the Beach Club.

I think you have to estimate 1 1/2 hours at CP if you want to meet all the characters. Then if you are lucky, catching the bus and getting back to All Star in another half hour. It would be too stressful to make it even worth it in my opinion.

Can you check and see if there is another flight you like better? The airlines often make changes, but you can choose another flight if they offer one that doesn't work for you.

I would also phone the airline, they would probably let you change to the later flight which would give you lots of time but I would phone asap before that flight fills up, usually if the airline changes your flight and it doesn't work for you they will let you change to another one if it is available, PHONE NOW:goodvibes

I was going to write this as well. I see so many posts on the transportation thread where people say they were able to change to a later/earlier flight with "no change fee" when the airline changed their original flight time.

Give it a try!! The later flight is better. You get a bit more time before leaving Disney. :goodvibes

BTW, I can't see making the breakfast and ME with the new depature time.

Unless you or they change your flight there is no way to make that adr, eat and be back to the resort for ME pickup.
Sorry.

Since you are still 5mos out, I wouldn't cancel the adr just yet. Maybe they will switch departure time closer to your date.
You can always cancel it while you are there or even right before you leave for WDW if you know you aren't going.

Good luck, hope things change for you.

I hate to agree with all the other pp, but it won't work. I feel your pain; that 8am CP ADR is awesome and a must do for us on every trip.:cloud9: Like others said, try changing your flight but don't cancel your ADR just yet. Good luck.:goodvibes

Thanks for the suggestions all - I've never had much luck dealing with airline customer service, but I just got off the phone and they were able to move us to the late afternoon flight!!! No worries about making to our ADR now...as long as they don't mess with this flight time too much.:rolleyes1
