V here is what I found on another thread
Oh how sad! :sad1:

Isn't it horrible? The kid was 21 years old. It really hit too close to home for me, with Dneph being there as well. At least I know Dneph isn't on the front lines, but someone elses son/daughter is and that's very scary, KWIM? :guilty:
Oh T  That's so sad - and I can imagine how you must be feeling.

I've found a new lover - UoG website! :cloud9:
So you've finally come to see the power of the Dark Side?! Welcome to my world! :thumbsup2

So seriously question here. How many of you are doing UoG? I just looked at the website briefly. Wish I were going but I'd like to know how you all liked it after you really use it.
I've used it pretty much exclusively for 10 or so years. I SWEAR by their touring plans and best/worst days :thumbsup2
Nope, you have to pay to use the touring plans part. I think it's like 7 or 8 bucks. :confused3
::yes:: I just renewed recently and I think it was around $8.
What do you get for free then? Well not free but where you type in the words from the book?
Maybe a discount? Or is that the code for getting updates to the book? I haven't bought a book since 2006, so I'm a little Fuzzy on the details.

Well shoot - I'm out of time. I told myself I could DIS 10 minutes for every page of a research paper I write today. At the end of 3 pages, I get 30 minutes! I'll be back - got a BIG update to share!

Just make sure my light is on before giving me the big update. I hope it involves something about the fundraising for me to come down to Disney with y'all.

Mo and T no LOEMH on the 24th.

Let the real planning begin:banana:

Nicely done, Janet. :thumbsup2 I don't know why they are on the DIS, and not yet on Disney, but as long as I have something to work with, I don't care where it came from.

Notice the water parks? The EMHs stop completely mid month. I hope Disney does some tweaking of their own.

Oh T  That's so sad - and I can imagine how you must be feeling.
Thanks, V. Anger, it's mostly anger - and the fact that Waldo and I got into a heated debate this morning regarding the whole Bush/Iraq thing. It was quite colorful.

I LOVE the Dark Side! :darth:

I check last years dates and 8/26 is Sunday and this year the 24th falls on a Sunday. IF they have LOTT, I'll be banking on a LOEMH on the 24th. Keeping my fingers crossed. I need LOEMH that day, danggit! :headache:

Arggh...for a second I thought these were for 2008. Oh ribbits!
8/26 would have been perfect for my trip. :headache:

A photo package will be included for ALL reservations made for April 27, 2008 and beyond for Princess Storybook Dining at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Prices are as follows:

Breakfast: $28.99 ages 10 and older; $12.99 ages 3-9
Lunch: $30.99 ages 10 and older; $13.99 ages 3-9
Dinner: $35.99 ages 10 and older; $14.99 ages 3-9
Price includes non-specialty, non-alcoholic drinks (sodas, coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, punch, milk). Tax and gratuity are NOT included.

Ok, Fockers - I need your help. I am having a hard time swallowing this pill. I really don't want to pay over $100 for a darn Princess Lunch and mediocre food. What to do, what to do..... :scratchin: If I cut Akershaus, that only leaves me with 2 Character meals - Donalds Safari breakie & 1900 Pare Fare. I think I'm going to have one very unhappy Princess Maddie if I 86 Akershaus. Help me! WWYD?

You could make it a special girls only lunch to cut the cost.

How about this for Miss Maddie. I have heard good things about it

Wonderland Tea Party

While not a princess experience, another fantasy meal to consider is the Wonderland Tea Party that takes place at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Alice in Wonderland, accompanied by the Mad Hatter, hosts a luncheon in a delightful tea party setting. The children create and eat their own cupcakes. Please note: parents/guardians do not participate in this event. The price is $28.17 per child (potty friendly please). This is offered Monday through Friday at 1:30pm - 2:30

(Please note the characters are subject to change without notice.)

Cut it!
There are plenty of chances to meet the princess team in the parks.
Plus skipping it this trip will make it even more special on future trips.

But that is just a dad's POV

I considered that one, Lessa. I could send the boys to Marrakesh to oogle the belly dancer and us girls head to Akershaus.

That's an idea. I even thought of the Perfectly Princess Tea until I saw the price. :scared1: She already has the doll that they give you, so wouldn't be that worth it, KWIM?

That's what I say, Phib. We could hit the Princess tent and be done with it - but I"m going to need a bribe. :scratchin:

A bribe? From me? I guess I could send you a nice wallet from my office. But I am not sure why you need a bride from me? :confused3

Oh, you mean for the kid. Duh!
Maybe a visit to BBB?

UGH, my head is spinning, reading through the last few pages of this and I have no idea what is going on. I think I need to concentrate on one trip at a time right now. Hopefully WDW gets their act together and gets their EMH and LOEMH and P&PP dates sorted out by the time I get back in 2 weeks.

T- sorry about your co-worker's brother:hug:

V, it's been, like, four hours! We're going to have to start guessing soon.;)

Mo and T no LOEMH on the 24th.

If only it can be true!!!! I could conceivably get out to MK for a regular rope drop, but forget LOEMH. :sad2:

Notice the water parks? The EMHs stop completely mid month. I hope Disney does some tweaking of their own.
Wow - you guys are gonna HATE me... I again say, please no morning EMHs! I couldn't bear the thought of getting to TL at 8am last year. We went at 9 and had no problems at all. Of course, we don't do any of the "cool" stuff, either.

Wonderland Tea Party
::yes:: I was going to sugges the same. Either that or tea for everyone.
V, it's been, like, four hours! We're going to have to start guessing soon.;)
Sorry - I had to fit groceries, Target and soothing Leo in. He was playing T-ball with Gramma and Gramma wanted a turn at bat. She tried to "wow" him and hit the ball right into his face! He's fine, but I was fighting not to :rotfl2:
Oh ok, I will start......My guess...V is getting a job with the Mouse;)
Nope. Good guess, but I'm not sure they could pay me enough to live in Orlando. :scared:

Okay, update coming up...

That sucks that the hours aren't out yet, but I think they change a lot from now 'til August and you can only plan so much. I know they were changing things in February when I checked in January for my April trip and it really put a cramp in my plans and I ended up having to redo them.

Ya know everyone could just take a page out of some famous DISers and make multiple ADRs with different phone numbers and names. ;) :rolleyes1
That's what I'd do if I were planning ADR times.

T sorry about your co-worker's brother. :sad1:
I was thinking the other day how grateful my father's retired from the Army, he got sent to the first Iraq war from day 1 'til the end. I started thinking if he were in the Army still he'd probably be there or worse, made me very sad so I definately feel for everyone who has a loved one over there.

How about skipping 1900 PF and doing the Princess dining. Maybe like Lessa said make it a girls thing and the boys get their own thing. Otherwise I'm thinking you might have to make a beeline to the Princess tent early if you're going that direction. Isn't Aurora Maddie's fave though? Is she usually at the Princess tent? I know for sure Belle usually is. A bribe for Maddie? Hmmm what would she want? Ok that wasn't that helpful. Sorry.

Ok, I think V has decided to take another trip to WDW. ;)
