He walked away grumbling. He's mad cause I vetoed his idea to buy a new 'puter. Ours has been acting up and instead of just having it fixed, he's ready to buy a new one. Our PC is a little archaic, but it's paid for, KWIM? Beside, then I'll have to dip into my WDW fund - and I'm not down for that!

We got a gateway (which is now owned by Hp ). It has 3g memory and 500g hard drive. It came with a 19inch flat screen monitor and an all in one printer

It's awesome. It is so fast. Jim was watching the Song Remains the Same on it Sound and picture are great (Came with external speakers too)

Hmmm....good to know. I'm taking our PC in tomorrow to see if they can fix the antivirus on it - if they can't or it's going to be a huge bother, I'm going to have them just wipe it clean and go buy a new one. I hate computer drama!

If Circuit City is not offering the 12 months no interest check and see if Best Buy is. If you tell the people at Circuit City that they will usually match whatever Best Buy is offering

Our computer guy says that McAfee and Norton don't do the job they are supposed to for antivirus. They totally recommend Panda Security. So far, so good!

Well I looked at the menus for Donald's Safari and Chef Mickey's and they both have the standard breakfast buffet offerings. Donald's however seems like it may have some more unique offerings as well. It will also get us into the park early and is $4 cheaper pp so can you guess which one I am going to book?

Where is your pc guy, if you don't mind me asking? A pc store or a circuit city or something??

Sorry to be so nosy about the pcs but with DH being the pc fixing wiz he can actually tell u whats wrong and a lot of time pc people get paid to try and tell you more than what is wrong is wrong, ya know?! He's good at fixing them and he enjoys ot so please feel free to PM me about them!

Made some dining reservations today. I had to call back three times though. The first call I made I got a CM who was hard of hearing, I had to spell my name out 5 times and then he ended up making the first two reservations on the wrong day. He finally got them straightened out and I decided to end the call there and just call back and get somebody else less mistake-prone.

The second call was going fine until Erich came upstairs and started making really rude noises and mom started laughing so that I couldn't hear the CM. So I ended the call.

I then took the phone and locked myself away so that Erich and Mom could not cause distractions and called back and finished it up.

So here is what I booked:

Dinner at Le Cellier
Donald's Safari Breakfast
Late Lunch at Sci-Fi
Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's

The only meal that we are 100% positive on going to is Donald's Breakfast. The rest we may go to, I figured it is better to make ADR's now while I can that way if we end up getting the meal plan later on we will have the ADR's in place.

Make sure to burn all your stuff that you want to keep before taking it in. It would suck to lose pics or valuable documents or whatever.

Really?? I've never had problems with my Norton, it's done it's job very good for years now. I didn't like McAfee. Never heard of Panda Security. Good to know though.

You are so right Kat. They wanted to charge us $200 to optimize the computer and install Office. We were like no, we can take of that ourselves thanks. Basically to "optimize" they were going to take off all the "extra" software, like AOL that is preinstalled and it would have taken 3 hours. Uh, no..it took Jim and hour and $0!!!!!!!

Really?? I've never had problems with my Norton, it's done it's job very good for years now. I didn't like McAfee. Never heard of Panda Security. Good to know though.

We have Norton too Z and have had no problems. It is free through Comcast!
