Me too! That's when Airtran will but their fares out:thumbsup2

I'm flying Airtran, too! :thumbsup2 Right now AA wants over $449 pp! Airtran will run around $298. Have you used them before? Any tips?

Ok, DM - Robs got the time - you've got to work it girl! Play the lottery! Mac and cheese it for 6 months!

Here's Plan:
I've made my New Years Disney Saving Resolution to:

1. Not buy anything new, except for necessities.
2. No more eating out more than 1x per week, including fast food.
3. Cut coupons.
4. Eat MacnCheese for dinner 1x per week! :lmao: He's not too happy about this one! ;)

Definitely pay the $5.00 extra per person ($15.00 per per person if you want exit row) to get a seat assignment, otherwise you get what is ever left over (like SOuthwest) so you don't have to worry about borading assignment or anything. I checked in online about 10p the night before our trip, but I wasn't concerned becasue we had the seat assignments already:thumbsup2

2. Ditto
3. Ditto
4. Jimmy would love this, but Jim would KILL me:rotfl:

We are actually calling around now to get estimates on new windows. My kitchen window broke last week and is being held together by a wish and a prayer right now. We are going to get estimates for the whole house, but we are probably going to get just the living room, dining room, and kitchen now and get the bedrooms done later. Those are in a little better shape than the first floor ones

Start playing the lottery:idea:
:yay: Now as Janet said you need to win the lottery :goodvibes
I already play! Hey! Maybe that's where all my money is going ... :rotfl2:

I've never flown Airtran. Sorry. It doesn't fly out of Syracuse. I really like JetBlue. But, if we were somehow (doubtful) able to make it down in August, we could actually drive down. That would save a tons of money.

Way to work it Girl said:

I still priced it out for us:

8 nites at POR, 8 DDP for 2 adults and 3 kids, 8 days tix w/park hopper. Totals: $3290-ish. And that doesn't include the drive down with cheap hotel stays and food then. So, if I can come up with $4000, or if a great code comes out that I can get even less ... hmmmmmm ....

When did free dining start last year?

I hate doing the math for tipping and carrying around extra cash. I end up doing the math for 10% then tacking on 3-5 dollars more.

hey August Fockers, just checking in while I have a few. Since a few of us have posted their plans, I have mine, though obviously it will be changing (and T you haven't laminated yet, RIGHT?)

Arrive Thrusday August 21

Check into GF and head over to MK for the afternoon, dinner at 1900 Park Faire, maybe check out the pool.

Friday - MK and Plaza for dinner
Saturday - AK and Focker meet at Epcot at night
Sunday -switching to BCV and pool day thinking of HDDR for dinner
Monday - Waterpark and DTD at night thinking Rainforest for dinner
Tuesday - MGM and Mama Melrose for fantsamic dinner package
Wednesday - MK CP for breakfast and BBB (this will be a sruprise for Kelly) and CRT for dinner
Thursday - Epcot and Garden Grill
Friday - Epcot and Cape may Cafe for Breakfast afternoon leave for airport

Now, I already know my waterpark day will be changing ;) and if they annouce P&PP I will make an appointment for BBB for that day, etc.

I saw Jo's posts about telling her girsl for Christmas, I may borrow from your ideas for telling Kelly. Her b-day isn't until June, so lots of time to plan that out.

I already have my plane tix, I saw Continental had cheap flights last month, so I pulled the trigger, got RT for 152.00.

Car rental is ridiculous right now (though I just got National Emerald Aisle for Feb for 135.00:cool1: , that is almost half as what I had booked it for)

I am not doing the DDP as I have the DDE card which takes 20% off (alcohol included). From the way the rest of you talk about the decision for DDP, glad that is one thing I can forget about. Also, I am going all out and staying concierge so breakfast is taken care of the first three days anyhow.

Just a little more about Kelly, she is all girl, loves froo froo girly stuff. She is the youngest of three, my DB and SIL thought they were having 2 kids and then about 8 years later Kelly came along, her older DB and DS are a senior and sophomore in HS and she is 2nd grade. She loves to play school and is either going to be a school teacher or Suzy homemaker when she grows up.

And as a side note I think my ADR's for February are final, yes I said final, though not laminating anything yet (RIGHT T, no laminating yet?) Oh and today I am at the 8 week mark for February's trip:banana:

Well that's all I have right now Fockers.

Hey DM, work it girl, work it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you using Lover? Why do we only have 1 day in common?

I already have my plane tix, I saw Continental had cheap flights last month, so I pulled the trigger, got RT for 152.00.
Carp, that's a great rate! :thumbsup2

She sounds adorable - she'll get along swimmingly with the other girls! :goodvibes

February and you're not laminated yet? :faint: J/K LY Mo!;)

OMG, have you guys seen the latest pic of TGM? He's H-O-T for a white boy! :lmao:

well once P&PP is annouced that should be the same right? We could make that another Focker outing. And believe me this Plan will change!

Ok confession, you need to sit down T,

Are you sitting?

In a sturdy chair?

I am not, nor have I ever, suscribed to your Lover. I don't like to, nor do I feel the need, to pay for it.

I'm sure she will, she really is a great kid:love:

 That's all I got.

But.

But.

But.

He's really cute. Just sayin'. :rolleyes1

What about UOG? I find they're pretty similar.

I hear ya about paying for his services... hehehe.... it's ok. I think. :teeth:

:rotfl2:

:rotfl2:

:lmao: Cute huh, is he single? Would love for a cute single guy to pay for my Disney trips....

When I buy an Updated UOG, I do use their site, but what I do...

I pick the EMH park and go the day before or day after EMH. It works for me. WP days I like to go early in the week, Monday or Tuesday, as those seem to be less crowed days. Of course, If there are Fockers to be found, my days will be planned accordingly.

I don't think TGMike is that cute. He's too blonde for me.

I too wouldn't mind for a cute single guy to pay for my Disney trips. Heck! At this point I wouldn't mind a cute single girl to pay either! :lmao: Oh what the help, anyone can buy my trip. I'm easy.

I was considering subscribing to TGM again for my next trip but I have been reading some really negatve things over on TimandLesley's pre-trip report. Apparently he has not posted his best park days yet for June and the June park hours were released over two weeks ago, it is really messing with people's ADR plans as they don't know when they should book for because they were counting on his suggestions to plan out their days.

The best park days chart was the only thing I used him for as I found most of his other information outdated. Oh well, I'll just have to invest that twenty dollars somewhere else.

Alrighty. I go away for a week and return to find pages and pages of pre-trippie well under way. :thumbsup2 Is dark red taken?

As it stands right now....

(Cause we all know these things can and do change).

I'm booked for August 17 to the 29th.

:woohoo:

Really?!?!? Wholly carp! Did you get the bounce back deal? :confused3

Glad to hear you're on board, Kate! :goodvibes Now jump over to your TR and get started! :surfweb:

We got the offer in the room, but it's not as good a deal as I was hoping. We had booked SOG several months ago, and the money end of it is keeping us at SOG for right now. If free dining is offered, that is a different story all together. We'll end up at POR again if we can eat for free. :thumbsup2

And thanks for the welcome home, Jo.:goodvibes

My TR? :laundy: Mounds of it.:headache:

I'm easy.

 :rotfl2:

YAY:yay:

BTW, I did not know you had a TR going, so I am going over to check it out now. I'll just blame T and Jo, they will never know:rolleyes1

No we'll never find out :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

OK I need to find a 2 credit TS, we have 14 days of DDP (and only really 13 days to use them, first night we just sleep and last day we leave about 3pm) and last year we did two 2 credit TS (CRT and HDeDoo) and I need at least 1 this year but nothing seems appealing, Cali Grill is up there but thing is, maybe we're just not posh enough, I really don't look at the menus and think wow that looks so much nicer than a 1 credit TS we must use 2 credits on that!!!!!

Have I rambled enough? :rotfl2:

Oh and I just found out that all desserts except the kitchen sink are included at B&C so that's definitely on the list even though you can't make an ADR for it :thumbsup2
