Just wondering if anybody has had this room b4 and is it as noisy as everyone says?

First Cruise....Feb.25th-Mar. 4th 2006!! Can't Wait!! :boat:

My 7 yr old grandson and I had this room in Sept 2003. Really enjoyed the extra space.
Noise is a very personal thing. Some noise will really bother some people, the same noise will not bother others.
I did hear some running during the day. Someone feel down on deck and there was a thud. Of course I heard it, but it didn't bother me and was not really that loud. Sort of like having a room over you in a hotel. I didn't hear anything at night, and slept very well. Never anything very early in the morning, as some others have reported hearing from deck 8. I really enjoyed having the easy access to deck 9. Very quick, just run up the stairs! I would stay in this room again.

:flower: We are on that same cruise. We are staying in room 8556 and my parents are in 8558. This is our first Disney cruise also. We are really looking forward to this cruise. We have been DVC members for 4 years and really love Disney and can't wait to see if the cruise lives up to our expectations.

Do you have any children? We have a DD who will be 11 and a DS who will be 4. It would be great if their ages would match.

Look forward to maybe meeting you.

Hi jdkdorn!! What a coincidence!! Is this your first cruise also? We Have 3 children. DS who is 17, a DD who is 15 and a DS who will turn 4 on March 6th! I couldn't help but notice that it said that you're from Franklin! We live in Mukwonago. It really is a " small world after all!! " :flower: I am new to this site but think it is awesome!! We are taking a big family vacation before my son graduates seeing as he might not be around for too many more!! I look forward to talking to you some more! If you've cruised before and have any tips or info. you could pass on I would really appreciate it!! Hope to talk to you soon if not I'm sure we will see you on the 25th!!

This is our second cruise and we really love cruising. We did Royal Carib in Jan. Our son's will have to get together. My ds will be 4 on Sept 13. I can't wait for the cruise. As it gets closer maybe we can plan a small get together. We Wisconsinites have to stick together. :sunny:

We are flying Midwest and got a good rate arriving in Tampa, $198. It was over $300 to ly into Orlando

We are disney fanatics if you need any dis advise

Hi Judy! We are flying into Orlando the night before! We are not " seasoned " travelers and thought that doing everything in one day might be kinda stressful on some of us...mainly me!! I had my TA check into Midwest but she quoted me some ungodly price. I guess its cheaper to fly into Tampa? Do you then have to find your own transportation to the port? Yes us Wisconsinites do have to stick together...only we know how wonderful it will be to escape the winter here :cold:... if only for alittle while! That would be neat to try and get together, then our sons will know each other if/when they go to the Club to play! Well if I need more advice I will surely will be contacting you! I hope you don't mind!!! :) Holli :wave2:
