I'm following along! I LOVE the Beach Club and plan on doing a graduation trip with my best fried (tinkerbrig on DIS) when it's time... in 4 years! hahaha

I'm here!! That was Disney day for us too! No ME for us, but I loved being walked right upstairs! And Hyacinth checked us in too.

Yes Amy it was Disney day for you! Isn't Disney day just the best day?? It was great being escorted right upstairs. I wondered if Hyacinth checked you in also.

I am afraid we are so spoiled now we will not want anything else.

Sweet upgrade!!! The BC is the only deluxe I still want to try.

Oh, and just an FYI, the Coronado (a moderate) has a gym and a very nice one too.

Hi kathy. Yes SWEET is another word for the upgrade. Oh Kathy you have got to try BC. We just cannot say enough about it. Just the smell when you walk in.....Aahh.

Oh that's right Coronado would have a gym since it hosts a lot of conventions. I forgot about that. Good to know. We have never stayed there or even gone over to check it out. We will need to do that sometime.

We are staying club level at Jambo for a few days before our Beach Club move this summer.

Anita you are here!!. I know you have had your share of stays at BC. Have you ever stayed CL?? I know you stay on DVC now but did not know in the past if you ever had.

Oh cannot wait to hear about your stay at CL at Jambo. Should be amazing. And then to go to BC. It was a great experience & we all enjoyed it.
Of course the boys did not know what Club Level even was. Well Jeff didn't either.

I'm over here from the BC/YC thread as well - I love TRs, and am looking forward to the forementioned "lots of pics". I tend to lurk more than anything, but I'm here reading for sure!

Grumpy's wife!! I am also Grumpy's wife as DH will only wear the Grumpy character. You will see in pictures that his shirts & hats have Grumpy on them. He really is not Grumpy though. He's pretty easy going.

My husband really isn't Grumpy either. He's just not the Disney loving guy that my family wants him to be. When he's there he is silly and has a wonderful time but just doesn't "get it" like the rest of the family.

Congratulations on the upgrade. What a nice surprise.

Well, I will do the best I can - I have my first BC stay in September, so I am browsing through all the BC/YC TRs, PTRs, and general threads I can find. I did the same thing when I stayed at POFQ the first time, and POP the first time, and CR the first time, and AKL the first time..... I can't wait to go!

Zehn like I just mentioned to Susan I think you will love the BC. She is staying there in Sept. also. You might be there at the same time! How did you like POFQ?? That is our favorite moderate.

Lynn the upgrade was awesome!! We loved going into the lounge to get goodies. They had some great things there. Even those sweedish fish were good!

That's what I figured. So excited for you! I would love to know how other C/L lounges differ from resort to resort. I wonder if they have the same offerings. I never really read up on C/L because I never in my wildest dreams ever expected to stay there.

That would be great for Baylor. I remember reading about that in her report. The celebrities always stay at the Deluxe resorts so there is that possibility. Why wouldn't you want a nice Disney vacation after the season is over. I will keep fingers crossed for him too.

I wanted to get an update in but it just didn't happen. I had to get Mother's Day items on my lunch hour & it was grocery shopping night but I will update on my lunch hour tomorrow. I will have to take a picture of the cute Disney decoration I bought today and post it. Will do that tomorrow.

Ok going to try & get in some while on my lunch hour. It has been raining here for the past 2 weeks & tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful out so DH & I want to work outside & get all our patio furniture up. I saw my first hummingbird of the season on my feeder this morning!! I love feeding them & all birds & I get very excited with the first one of the season. I just got home & there was one on my feeder so I grabbed my camera but of course by the time I did that he was gone. I will get a pic though. Anyway I left off that we had just checked in.

Hyacinth walked us to our room. Oh year I forgot to mention they called down to Bell Services to have them bring up our groceries & luggage. We ordered from Garden Grocer so we could have some water, breakfast food, & beer for DH. Little did I know we would be upgraded. I was very surprised when Bell Services knocked on the door about 5 minutes later with everything including ALL our luggage.

Hyacinth also told us if we need ANYTHING to let them know. They did not want to see us in the lobby asking for anything & that they would handle anything we needed. How wonderful is that????

So here is some pics of our room

Our view from the balcony. Straight ahead was a roof but when you looked a little to the left....

We were in room 5677. I keep wanting to say 5667 but that was Amy's (DisMomAmy) room. Now Amy & I live about 30 minutes from each other here in NH but we had never met!! We almost met in 2010 at AK but it did not happen. Well this time we had plans to meet. So when she told me what room she was in I kept getting confused & say we were in room 5667.

Our room was down the hall & to the left about 3 rooms in. We had a couch (daybed) that my oldest Ryan tried out & actually liked it!! So Cody had a queen size bed all to himself & everyone was happy!! Throughout the week I asked Ryan if it was comfortable & he said YES. His back usually hurts when we go to Disney but no hurt back this trip.

So since our luggage & groceries had arrived we put the milk, water & juice in the fridge & we unpacked. Cody & I had a few drawers in the bureau that the fridge is in & Jeff & Ryan shared the drawers in the bureau to the left when you first walk into the room. (Sorry no pics of that).

I made no ADR's or plans on our first day. I was anxious to go to MK so that is where we headed.

But....before we headed to MK one of my DS's needed to see something else first!! What was it?????

Have to go back to work but will update sometime this weekend. Have a great weekend!!!

I'm guessing you needed to see the gym before you were allowed to go anywhere. I'm guessing that based on what my own bodybuilding son would want to do.

You have to understand the mentality of these kinds of guys. Trent can work a 12 hour day, but if it is work-out day, he heads straight to the gym. Such discipline.

Discipline I clearly don't have, but need to as I get fatter and fatter. I tried to run a little on a mini-tramp, but my knee suffered the consequence. I think water exercise is going to be about all I can do any more, so I am going to need a pool in my backyard - and a privacy fence.
