Day 8 March 12 2008 DTD and leaving day
Breakfast: I always dread this day and often think about it the day I arrive. We slept in knowing this was our last day at POR. We headed down, luggage in tow to the Magical Express check in. The gentlemen was very nice and all bags were under weight

. I was totally worried about this the whole way down and during the trip. We then gave our carry on bags to the baggage check just outside POR to the left of the main entrance. They were great too and the one red head was a hoot and reminded me of the actress on Mama's Family. So we finally headed back inside to the food court and ate breakfast for the last time in POR

My DH ate the bounty platter again with oj and water. My daughter and youngest son ate the kids platter again with o.j. My oldest son tried the make your own omelet platter with oj and water and I stuck again to the waffle platter with oj and the water again too. Again very good and yummy but I kinda didn't want to eat knowing this was our last time for many years being at POR. (We have been the last 5 years in a row and won't be returning until at least 2011

)
Lunch: We picked ourselves up and headed to the boat to take in the sights and sounds for the last time in DTD. The boat again was lovely. We headed to all the shops and the
lego store. I picked up some gifts and my DH finally picked out a shirt for himself. We headed to Goody's Candy Company to spend the last of our SC.
My DH got the Mickey Rice Krispie bar with oreo and dipped in chocolate with peanuts and then drizzled with white chocolate. My DS got the same thing except dipped in m&m's and sprinkles. I got the 3 pretzel rods one dipped in pecans, 1 in m&m's and 1 dipped in peanuts all drizzled with caramel on top. Then my DD wanted the caramel apple, so before I ordered hers I asked was the apple caramel dipped included in the SC and the women said yes. So my daughter chose one with peanuts and sprinkles. So we headed up to the counter to pay and my DH also got pineapple candy and my oldest got goofy hard candy too. The lady totaled the bill and I told her I was using the last SC's that I had. She said oh the apple isn't included. I said I asked the women before it was made and she said yes. She said she was wrong and I had to pay extra. I said then fine I didn't want it. So in the meantime, time wasn't on our side and we needed to get on the bus back to POR for the ME. So DH went back over to the counter with DD and re-did another one with pretzels this time. In the meantime I headed over to Earl Of Sandwiches to get dinner for us. While to make a long story short, while DH waited there, the women who told us the apple was included was getting in poopoo

So I guess this is how things can get confused for customers. Total: 22.88 or 7SC
Supper: So I headed to EOS so we could take a little of disney with us on the plane. We love this place and couldn't leave without a little taste. My oldest got the Earl Club minus the tomatoe with a bag of chips and a cherry coke. My youngest had the kids grill cheese with a cupcake and a chocolate milk. My daughter had the kids pizza with a brownie and a sprite. Me and DH had the Beef'n Bleu with the cupcakes and the pop. We ate them in the orlando airport waiting for our flight

Total: 44.36 or 5 CS
SO that is the end. I hope you all enjoyed it. I had some pictures but still can't figure out how to post them. Someday I will finally figure it out. I haven't added the totals up yet to see if we came out above cost or below but it was fun and we all enjoyed the variety of foods. It was still nice not having to carry alot of cash with us. We brought enough for tip and that was it. We always gave cash out and never charged to our rooms. We never had problems with them adding it to my visa that was attached to my room card because everytime we ate dinner, I gave them one of the kids cards and they couldn't make that mistake. My credits never ran out and never had problems with any of the keys except for the night we got them and they wouldn't print??? Thanks again everyone for the great comments.
