In order to exchange for real tix, what time do I need to be in the line at the ticket window in order to still have a decent rope drop position (at DL)? Does my entire family need to be with me at the ticket window to receive the tix or can they arrive a little bit later and just line up at the gates? Thanks for any help.

Are these Internet tickets? They scan the phone or printout and spit out a "real" ticket right at the turnstile, along with taking your picture if it's a multi day ticket.

My tickets from parksavers say specifically that I should exchange the vouchers at a ticket window. "Ticket window" implies not the "gate" to me, but I could be incorrect. I will send them email, but, just in case, I would appreciate an answer to my question. Thanks.

I sent them email requesting clarification. Will report back what they say.

I have the same questions. I have two sets of tickets two from disneyland.com printouts and then 3 from Orbitz!

This was parksavers response:

We offer two types of tickets so depending on which ones you purchased the redemption will be different.
If your tickets say Expedia on them you need to visit a box office first and then go into the parks.
If you have e-tickets then you go right to the gate.

Ours do indeed say expedia on them. So, my question still stands. :)

Neonderlyn, hope that helps you a little...do your orbitz tix have specific instructions on them?

You will definitely need to go to a ticket window to exchange the voucher. The ones on the Harbor Blvd side of the Esplanade are not as busy as the DTD side. I have similar vouchers from Cheaptickets that just have my name on them so require my ID at pick-up. Your other family members won't need to be there. Would you have time the night before to pick them up?

The ones from Orbitz are also vouchers that need to be exchanged at the ticket windows. The ones from Disneyland.com you can take straight to the gates.

Oh, and if you are staying onsite, then they can also change them at the hotel registration desks.

Thanks, Angrose, for the help! I wish I had time to pick them up but our flight doesn't arrive until 10:30 pm the night before and we will be offsite that night. Do you think 6:45ish is a good time for me to show up? Probably have DH and kids wander over after 7...if I am lucky, I can already be in line at the turnstile, otherwise, they can hold our position?

The ticket booths open 1 hour before the park and close 1 hr after park closing I believe so I would find out the opening times for your first day and head on over.. have a great trip

Thanks for that! Now I know not to show up TOO early, so 7 am it is. :)
