8:40 AM BOG breakfast, then straight to Peter Pan's Flight?

I have a breakfast booked at BOG for 8:40 AM, before rope drop (although there is early morning magic that day starting at 7:45AM, regular hours are 9 to 9). If I show up even earlier than my booked time and preorder my breakfast, basically getting to Peter Pan's flight by 9 AM LATEST, should i expect there to be long lines? Are there a lot of ppl that do early morning magic? I'm trying to save my FP for other rides... Have never been to Disney so no idea if this is a strategy that works or if I need to rethink it.

Peter Pan isn't brutal right at Rope Drop. Enjoy your breakfast and try to be there by 9:20 or so. I apologize I misread and for some reason thought you'd be at EMH. Everyone else is correct and my initial advice (now crossed out) is bad.

Can I expect lines to be ~15 min if I follow my plans (honestly just throwing random numbers out there trying to get an idea of wait times lol)

Arrive by 7:45am... take a PhotoPass pic or two as your head down Main Street... head to BOG... eat and enjoy your meal... head out to PP 8:50’ish..... they’ll let you on the ride right around 9am when EMM ends. Have fun!

Most BoG guests will go to 7DMT to line up in prep for 9am. A much smaller number will head to PP. By 9am, most of the EMM guests have had their fill of Fantasyland and are moving on to their breakfast or heading to hit some other part of the park at rope drop.

look at it this way....PP flight, when there are no fast passes, and everyone is in the stand by que (extra hours) takes about 20 mins to get on the ride. (assuming the que is full)

as others have said....on extra hours days, PP flight is one that people go to early to get it out of the way. So you can expect the que to be full. at 9am, FP+ user will roll in. turning 25 min wait to 45-60 by 9:15am.

There are very very few guests for EMM. We did EMM and the queue never got longer than 10 minutes during EMM. However, if you get to Peter Pan at 9am, you may find yourself arriving at exacly the same time as the roper droppers and end up getting herded to the back of the pack, which can be a 45-75 minute wait depending on crowd levels.

If I were you, I would show up to MK at 7:45 when they first admit breakfast reservations, finish breakfast by 8:40 at the latest (they will seat you much earlier than your reservation time if you arrive early) and then go wait for Peter Pan (there should be a "holding area" for the breakfast guests who do not have EMM). If you do that, I would say you would likely wait no more than 15 minutes.

I always find that Peter Pan gets a long line quickly. I randomly checked September 23 estimated wait times on Touring Plans and it says 35 minutes at 9 and 57 minutes at 9.15.

Oh gosh, thanks for the tip guys. I was hoping it'd take rope drop ppl at least 10 minutes to walk to Peter Pan, so I was thinking that by being there right after BOG at 9 there will pretty much be no line aside from other BOG and EMM visitors, but looks like that might not be the case.

The welcome show at the castle stage (where the rope drop crowd will be assembled) starts at 8:55am. That is about 4 mins, after which the “ropes drop” and people start heading back into the lands.

It’ll take the first people just 1-3 mins to get to PP - it’s not a far walk from the Liberty Square hub spoke. Things move quick.

Can I ask a question? When exactly is this? You mention Early Morning Magic (EMM), but after today there are no more MK EMMs currently scheduled. So, curious as to why you think EMM will be going on your date?

I'm using touringplans to help figure out my schedule...and for that specific date (Nov 3), they said there is EMM scheduled. Could this be a mistake?

Hmmm, ok. EMM has not been released for that day yet - so if they are showing EMM, that is speculation. Although whether there is or isn’t EMM doesn’t really change any of the above other than if there isn’t EMM, you will likely get on PP a bit before 9am.

11/3 is the first day after the end of the run of Extra Extra Magic Hours that goes 8/29-11/2 (with daily 7am-8am EMHs and 8am regular park openings).

Keep a close watch on things as they could very well extend those Extra Extra Magic Hours or keep earlier park openings past 11/2, thereby impacting your date.

Perfect thank you!!

I did this same thing last December. Plan to be in the reservation line at 7:45. You will be let in about 8:00 and can go back to BOG. You probalbly won't be allowed to ride before park opening because it is a EMM day but they let you line up near the attraction entrance. You will be allowed to enter the line when the park opens before the rope drop people get there. You can walk right through the cue and get right on the ride.

Do 8:40 reservations always get seated much earlier? We did BOG PPO breakfast at 8:10 this summer and while we were seated promptly, the wait to get our food served was significant. We ate quickly but we wouldn't have been able to get out in 15 or even 20 minutes. Seems like it might be tight to me. I like to FP Peter Pan because the line is always so long, and even at park opening I've seen it build fast.

Any reservations before 9am are let in at 8am and as it is seat yourself and confirm you are there by paying for your order an 8:40am reservation could be finished before an 8:05 reservation depending on items ordered, having a pre-order and eating speed.

I can confirm this personally. I have had an 8:40 am reservation at BOG and was seated upon arrival at 8. If it is a prepark opening reservation whether it is 8am on the dot or 8:50, you can enter the park at 7:45 and will be seated at or shortly after 8am. It is no trouble at all to be done by 8:45 and over to peter pan before the rope droppers

I also plan on preordering and not ordering a real full breakfast (those prices are insane!). Mostly just wanted to see the inside of the castle. So hopefully bc of that I'll be able to get out faster than most

I didn't see any options for a lighter breakfast. One year I went with my gs and he had a kid's breakfast and that was plenty, but can an adult order a kid's meal? (And even then- $15 for a bowl of cereal??????)

Honestly I was just going to get the cupcake with the grey stuff and call it a day loll. I think if you pre-order, they cant stop you from getting a kids meal right? Cause they won't know if you have a child in your party or not. But agree even then its expensive...that's why I just want the cupcake hahaa
