Is an 8:35 BOG PPO reservation worth it? I was a little late logging in to get a reservation for the morning I was thinking of doing a PPO. 8:35 was all they had left for our party of 4.

I guess we could always show up a little early and possibly be sat down earlier than 8:35 if they have availability.

If the reason is to get to the attractions early, then probably not. You would have to rush through breakfast to make it worth while. If you're eating at BOG to see the inside and take in the atmosphere then, IMHO, it's probably not worth rushing through the experience.

I would keep checking as you get closer to your vacation or set up a reservation finder alert. There’s a good possibility that you can move the time up and have more time for eating (if that’s what you were planning).

They will set you at 8am just go and have fun. Even getting seated at 8 you still may not be first on 7DMT

You can look for an earlier ADR, but I'd just go and show up at 8:00. Like PP said, they will seat you. For everyone showing up early, there will certainly be someone showing up late.

We tried to do that for a Star Wars breakfast back in the days of Star wars weekends, and despite our best efforts to be there at 8:00 am, we showed up exactly on time for our 8:20 ADR. If we hadn't been aiming to get there early, we would have been late. Luckily, we we didn't book that for a PPO advantage, because we certainly didn't get it!

Yeah, my plan was to get in a little early for rides. I still made the reservation, and will keep an eye for earlier times if they open up. I did set up a reservation finder on touring plans. I may end up keeping it though, even if it doesn't give us the full benefit of getting in line for a ride early, especially depending on what FP reservations I get for that day.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Just wanted to make sure you caught all the info. You can definitely show up at 8:00 and you WILL be seated. If you preorder your breakfast, you can be out of BoG and over at 7DMT by 8:45. They may have it open and allowing people to ride, but if not, they'll let you get in line and you'll be some of the first to ride, well ahead of the rope drop crowd.

Are they no longer implementing the policy where you can't check in with a BoG CM until 5 minutes prior to your ADR time? This has been the case for us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - even for a PPO breakfast, but it's been awhile since we have done breakfast at BoG.
