The week between Christmas and New Years, my family wants to see the 8:30 Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Magic Kingdom, but *not* the 7PM Starlight parade (we'll see that a different night). Given the crowds assembling early for Starlight, what's our best strategy for securing as good as possible of a spot for the 8:30PM fireworks? Would love any specifics on timing and location. We'll be coming from Tomorrowland, for whatever that's worth.

Just prepare for massive crowds and prepare for people (who don't want to see the fireworks) to start moving out of the hub and into the lands as soon as the parade passes their spot. Your best bet may be to try to find a spot on the bridge between Tomorrowland and the hub. If you don't care about seeing the projections, consider going to Fantasyland and seeing the fireworks from there (beautiful, but loud). I just don't think there is any way to game this that week. Moving into the hub area during the entire span of parade/fireworks times is going to be very difficult.
