Jeff, I will coordinate the dining for the group. After all is set, I will need the resie number, room number, & names with the ages of the kids. Anyone who is WLE will be seated together.

Lisa, just a thought but based on the difficulties DCL had in keep the group together on both early and late....

Wouldn't it be easier to just link those within each station to each other? (ie the 8,6,4)

Hmmmm....I am wondering if you already know what I am about to say here....both Todd & his wife are blonde IRL. :lmao:

No !!!!!! I had no idea until Todd posted the formal pics of his family. I think we were all surprised at what he really looked like. I pictured a guy with dark hair (uh-oh we are talking again like he isn't here):lmao: :lmao:

So if they can do it we can too???????????

My 5 year anniversary comes up in April. I originally registered the name PinClubs; my family was heavly into pin trading and I had a website called PinClubs that promoted local pin trading clubs accross the country. Unfortunately, I had a "run in" with a since banished poster; things got ugly so I decided to take a break from the DISBoards.

About 6 months later I registered a new name "Buddy Bear" and the rest as they say is history. Funny thing is the person who was banished I come to find hangs out at a different forum with other formerly banished DISers. Go figure.

Hmmm I wonder if that is the place JWeiss and I share a lot of friends with. :confused3 You don't have to like everyone but it would be nice if we respected each other.

We were sharing some PC 05 pictures - what a fabulous time we are going to have on this trip! I am sooooo looking forward to Cabo - we missed it last time.

Where did the Alaska plans come from? It's impossible to keep up here! :scared1:

Occupation: Director of a non profit organization in Connecticut. We provide services to people with dev. disabilities. I love my job!

When I have more time I'll try and go back to read about other people :)

Do we have an announcement out of California yet???

What's the hold up??

ROFL!!! Back to the singers of the 70s.....I use to watch Donny & Marie every week. That is one way that we were punished...no D&M. OY! I use to tape the shows on my cassette player to replay & act out with my sister...before VCRs were around. :rolleyes1 I still have all of their albums.

BTW...I have Andy Gibb's shadow dancing album too. :lmao:

I remember watching the show: Solid Gold with Dionne Warwick. It was the same night as Dance Fever with Denny Terrio. (Terrio?)

I'm trying to figure out who has kidlings and what their ages are. My DD is currently 5 and in Kindergarten. She really enjoyed emailing the other kids her age before the cruise and playing with them on-board. I know the cruise isn't for another year and a half, but it's never too early...

Those were the days of TV when you could actualy watch something with your kids in prime time.:rolleyes1

I'm pretty interested if anyone has gotten some good deals on lightweight luggage. I'd love to hear from people who have bought lightweight luggage. :goodvibes

Actually we bought Duffle bags on Ebags at a great price ...We are giving them a go in August for the Westbound Repo back from the Med ....they were good priced and when they got here they look to be pretty sturdy and only weigh like 7 lbs ....So hopefully they will still be good for the PC Repo ..

Ahhhh...!! I finally got caught up! Guess you leave your computer for several hours at your own risk!

Welcome back Lisa! I was impressed how you could respond to so many issues and topics that came up while you were away, then I thought... NOTES! I bet she took notes! :lmao:
I am wishing I had done that... I remember something back around 1647 that I wanted to respond to... and well, several other things too...

Here's one.... WHO took the time to count up everyone's post count??!!
And how did I get to 22 already? I thought I was just lurking...;)

DCL to Alaska---YES! Let's hope so! I can drive to Van. BC from here and really want to go on an Alaskan cruise, now I won't have to slum it on another cruise line!:cool1:

Screen name... not too creative. My DD's name is "Christina."

Met my DH-- Well that one is a better story:
You see, this one time at band camp...::yes::

NO, REALLY! High school band camp... or rather at the lake we stopped at on the way to camp. I was one of the few students who could water ski, I did and he was in the boat. Guess I caught his eye.
We didn't actually date in High School except for about 6 weeks one fall (my JR. year, his SR. year) but after he went off to College he kept in touch. I went to a different college so our "keeping in touch" turned into a long distance relationship. We got married right after I graduated.
17 1/2 years and 2 kids later, here we are!

Do you think you'll be using only the duffle bags - one per person? Do they wheel?

Bought some awesome luggage-really light-both a 27" suitcase and a carry on case - they are swiss army "last year's style" but who cares.

Great price through CAA/AAA.

Thank you ....As Lisa can tell you I am way too into the details ...and the costume is more impressive in person then in pictures ...

Yes with My DW in the pictures it kinda makes you not see my faults ...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

pirate:

At least they noticed you, Todd. :lmao:

DCL didn't have problems. Most of the issues were due to people changing things when they got on the ship. Also, smaller groups are not going to have the clout with DCL dining that we did to get the rotations I requested and have EVERYONE who was WLE pulled over from late dining like they did. They told us from the beginning that not everyone would be guaranteed sitting right next to each other. I even said the month before that everyone would be in the same area for 2 of the dining rooms but a couple of the stations...meaning 36 people at the time...wouldn't be with the group in one room. When Stacey did this she didn't tell anyone who they would be sitting with. Noone has to link with the group if they do not want to.

.... and now you've touched upon something I did NOT mention... ahem.... out of consideration for the pirate code.... <chuckles>
Takin' what I can!!!!

pirate:

The heck with the code!! They are more like guidelines anyway. ;)

But of course, I want to make sure each postcard is received, and if not, then I have the info to send out another one without having to ask for the info again. I have two notebooks full of postcard requests. I mark down the date each was mailed out, that's the perfectionist in me coming out.:rotfl:

Andy, you are such a thoughful person. :goodvibes

I was amazed that Lisa has taken a couple of days off, but still leads the pack in posts. Although a Harty Pirate appears to be hot are her trail. pirate:

Take What You Can

:lmao: Three days off was enough. You didn't think that I would let a pirate pass me by did you? I know Todd....something about waving to those moments as they pass by. pirate:

You folks are really scary...so many posts...so little time.

What time are we supposed to get an idea of what this is going to cost us?

When they slip our account statement under our door the last night!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm testing out a new rolling duffel when we go to Disneyland in March. I'm tired of having the suitcase take up 18 pounds of my allotment!
