Thank you ....As Lisa can tell you I am way too into the details ...and the costume is more impressive in person then in pictures ...

Yes with My DW in the pictures it kinda makes you not see my faults ...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm baaaacccK....

.... and now you've touched upon something I did NOT mention... ahem.... out of consideration for the pirate code.... <chuckles>

Well... seriously... I need to do a little research on pirate lingo before I can faithfull quote fitting remarks along the lines of what I'm thinking of saying. Give me a little time for that... as I am sort of a "young" pirate in experience!

So... switching channels - I can share that I did in fact make it to both the library (saved $0.20 in potential fines) and slipped in the door at Best Buy - and was pleased to see they took my return and credited me precisely what I paid - so I lost nothing. At that point I sort of took my time looking as they don't kick folks out immediately after they close - and I do need a new cell phone - and some new software... and I was interested in seeing how they priced the new Dr Who season sets AND the Star Trek animated sets. I think I saw the animated sets at Costco for less - and I can only hope to see the new Dr Who sets there... though that's pretty unlikely to ever happen.

THEN... I sort of did ot feel like doing the gym tonight so I hit a near by Borders Bookstore til they closed at 10 and kicked me out.

And now - here I am.... lets see to catching up a little more on some of todays postings. I don't know if I'll ever find the time to go all the way back to get caught up on every page now.... it looks pretty intimidating to try as I've run a checker board through the thread in my unsuccessful bid at keeping up!

But even so ... it's still a hoot. I just don't know where I've failed to reply to anyone .... so if I dropped a reply ... I'll be beggin' fer yer forgivness with one hand as I rob ya with the other cuz I'll be ....

Takin' what I can!!!!

pirate:

Yes considering they can cost upwards of a cruise on Disney for a family of 4 in a Cat 6 ....:lmao: :lmao:

pirate:

So this must make you a pretty good R/C pilot!

My neighbor is all into the R/C models. He does helicopters, big sailplanes, and medium sized powered prop planes ... and he is a regular pilot too. He's part of some kind of sail plaine club - and they have access to or maybe own a or more sail-planes. I don't know exactly how it works. I can only compare it to fractional private jet plans and possibly this private collectible car club I read about in the RObb Report. The car club sounded like a stroll thru the park as it was cheap - as I think the price was under $25K and you had rotating limited use of a nice car collection. There were Ferraris, Porsches, and a bunch of other interesting makes which I cannot fully recant as I am not really a car enthusiast to any great degree.

Anyways... the spouse is supervising the kids in the tub. So I have a few minutes or moments before I'll be summoned away to assist in preping them for bed.

Shoot - I still have not had much of a dinner. Instead of eating my dinner I was at the keyboard here frantically trying to snag the #1600th post (which I got) and when my spous came home she asked if she could eat what I had prepared for myself - seeing as I was stepping out an' all.

SO - I need to break away for a moment to get something decent to eat - before it gets any later.

TTFN....:surfweb:

Well....

...before I get something to eat - here is something I have not noticed in a while... a tally of the madness up to this point... where do YOU fit in with the line up? If you have not posted much lately - then please accept this invitation to jump in and join the fun anytime!!! Remember - ya gotta ...

TAKE WHAT YA CAN!!!!!

You talking to me??? That's my nickname....Grace. Well, ONE of my nicknames. ;)

I was doing my George Burns impression, LOL!!!:lmao:

Holy smokes, 4 pages to catch up on since going to bed last night, I better get busy before it's time to make DD's breakfast.

OMG! You keep records??:scared1:

I still have those postcards I promised you way back when in return for the ones you sent.

But of course, I want to make sure each postcard is received, and if not, then I have the info to send out another one without having to ask for the info again. I have two notebooks full of postcard requests. I mark down the date each was mailed out, that's the perfectionist in me coming out.:rotfl:

OK, now that I am up to date on this thread......we only have 7 more days to wait until the booking window opens, for this cruise!

It's hard to believe, but four years ago I became a member of the DIS, however my very first post was made the next morning. I was just a tad scared about making my first post, as this was the first board I had ever been a part of, and I didn't know if I would fit in. :rotfl:

Time to check a few other messages, then I have to get the coffee on for my DD. I love the smell of coffee, but I don't like the taste of it. I'm an iced tea drinker 365 days a year, except for leap year, then it's 366 days!!! :rotfl2:

Have a great Wednesday everyone, I'll be back later to check in!!!

Well, I just skipped breakfast so I could catch up on what I missed reading last night. Now I'm off to school (teacher), then straight to Verandah Man's neck of the woods to see my oldest son swim at a college meet. I shudder to think of how many pages I will be reading tonight!

Of course, I will read each and every entry. I am so excited about the idea that I may have the chance of joining everyone on this adventure!

Will that be at RiverWinds today by chance???

OK, gotta get out the door myself.

Breezed through the posts this morning; as per usual the late night crowd is doing their part.

My screen name comes from the Pooh Crew. My wife loves Tigger and I am her Buddy Bear (Pooh) at least that is what Tigger calls him.

Crash: Throught the Swiper graphic for taking 1600 was pretty funny. Although we love Disney of course we do pop by Noggin occasionally.

I was amazed that Lisa has taken a couple of days off, but still leads the pack in posts. Although a Harty Pirate appears to be hot are her trail. pirate:

Take What You Can

Morning all!

All this reading after looking at a computer screen all day has brought out the red eye in me.I fear by the time Wed comes around, I may need a real pirate patchpirate: :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great day. It is my Friday and blissfully we have no medical appointments this week. Aside from picking the Grandkids up from school I have the time to myself. Yea!!!

OMG, I just can't keep up......another day, another what...... 20, 30 pages to read. How do you guys manage to get anything done?!? I have questions to answer, but they were asked maybe 15 pages back! Good grief!

And yes, add me to the "bag lady" group....everyone here is so gorgeous!

We're also in the medical field. Hubby is an ophthalmologist and I take care of all the financial aspects of his business. This May we will have been together 38 years! I noticed alot of other swim team parents, even one who I think was at the college level. Been there, done that....for many years! In fact, this is our first year as swim team parent retirees. Can't say we miss it.

Good morning fellow zonies............
Thank you to Andy and Buddy Bear for the computer help. I will have to try to ship over some photos later.

Jeanneg--great we have the eyes, ear, nose, throat, plastics, and nursing aspect covered. Is your real name Jeanne? Unusual spelling unless you are a cat 4 hurricane but my mom is a Jeanne and I am a Judy Jeanne.

Tiggrbaby--what college does your son swim for?

Last night at swimming my kids coach of their team (we have 4) announced she was moving to LA. Her husband is worksing on the movie AVATAR and they are making him move there. My kids were so upset. It has been constant turmoil this year. I hope there isn't anymore for awhile. We have this cushy indoor pool and all the other pools are outdoor and so we really want to stay where we are.

My answer, to this question, will be found here on the home page of my website: www.verandahman.com

I loved the story of your name iit was great. So DCL ended up upgrading you after all? Awesome!!!!!!!Never have had that happen IN CASE ANYONE FROM DCL IS READING THIS:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Closest I have ever come is we did a last minute Carnival cruise out of Tampa this summer and we booked whatever was left which wasn't much and at the port we were handed our keys and they had put us in 3 oceanfront balcony rooms. It was a great surprise when we started down the hall and realized our room was on the outside.
