didn't have time to read the entire thread...but just wanted to jump in & say that we might be interested in this. just found out that the magic was coming back yesterday...and i've placed a call to our ta. waiting to hear back from her, and crossing my fingers & hoping till 1/30, i guess.

Sounds good. Was a new website address registered? I have developed websites for companies like Citibank, Barnes & Noble, Sovereign Bank, and many others.

Currently I work for a Incenvtive Marketing company were we build ecommerce websites. The sites are designed so employees can shop and redeem points earned through incentive promotions.

I have been developing websites professionally for about 10 years so there isn't too much about web design I don't know so if I can be of any help with the site let me know.

BTW...the T-shirt design is very cool!

I have a question for you pros: is it better to try and book on your own or through an agent? Do they have better rates? Does it make a difference if you are a previous cruiser? Have the Disney Visa? An AP? AAA?

I have my husband semi-convinced to to the eastbound if I can get a cat 10 for the 4 of us. I had my heart set on a week cruise since I planned on celelbrating my 50th bd and our 25th anniversary late (must work around the swim season), but they won't have that on the east coast.

OMG what am I to do? I think that the choice is clear. Changing the cruise plans and holding off for an extra 10 months yikes. I don't know if i can hold off that long. I think I can because it will bw worth it. Is everyone scrambling to figure out what to do or is it just me?
I can't belive that there are this many pages in this short span of time.

OK, who needs a good laugh?

Hazel left the house at 5:45 to go to church tonight, Angelina had a birthday party to go to at 7:30, so I stayed home to walk her over to her friends house a few blocks away. OK, here goes: I get Angelina halfway there and realize I picked up my cell phone and wallet, but "NO" house keys. It's 30* outside and the wind chill factor is in the teens. I tried to call Hazel, but since she is in church her cell phone is on vibrate and "IN" her pocketbook. It's 7:15 by now, and I know church won't let out until near 8:00

Luckily, I had on my ski cap, my very warm heavy work coat with hood, gloves, and of all things, my new Goofy bedroom slippers that just arrived on Friday. That's what I get for not putting on better shoes for the walk.

I arrive back home at 7:30 and start walking around the backyard to keep warm, then I nestle up against a big oak tree that is covered with ivy to try and block the wind. It did help by the way, LOL!!!

Finally, at 7:55 my cell phone rings, it is Hazel calling, church was almost finished, but she said something (thank you Lord) told her to check her phone. Hazel went out in the hallway, heard one of the five messages I left, called me back, and headed home. She arrived home at 8:20, and I am now back in the house, none worse for the wear, except for frozen piggies, LOL!!!

Same here. Verandahman, our family and many others were on the August DD and we were planning the same but it didn't work out. I feel bad but we will try again for '09. On the other side I couldn't be happier about being on a 15 Panama cruise.

Well, yeah, you don't see me whining too much about it......I'm really happy to have the Magic so close! But it IS mixed with a touch of loss.....

Yes I have the website set up...just need to switch out the info from the last cruise group after we book & know for sure who is going. I would LOVE help with compiling the info & graphics however. This is how I have set it up in the past.

Overview of cruise with schedule
manifest listing first names w/ kid's ages, DIS ID, room number, seating & if linked (by underlining), link for email
Excursions & Palo resies (I am thinking with this cruise we will need to have a page for each port with info on the port & excursions.
DIS Intros....pages with 4-5 families each that has picture, names, IDs, hometown, room, seating, pre & post cruise plans, celebrations, brief bio about you, what you do for work, hobbies, etc.
DIS Kid pages...set up with a page for each age group (flounders, 3-4, 5-7, 8-9, 10-12, stack) Picture, Name, age, email link, brief bio about what they like to do on ship, in school, favorite food & character, etc
DIS meet plan

The site I use doesn't allow passwords anymore so that is one thing that I would like to find. I don't like having everyone's info in one place. My policy has always been -- show me your information and I'll show you mine...and everyone else's who has signed up. I do not post the link for the site. I keep up an group email list and send out updates.

There wont be a link posted here. Too much personal info. It still has all of the last cruise info & they requested it stay up one more week to get all of the emails & addresses from the group. After we can book this thing, I'll get to work on the site.

Looks like I get to watch High School Musical again tonight!

LOL! That is my seven year old DD's favorite show. I must have seen it 20 times now. I swear it is on every other day, and when it's not the songs are playing in my car on Radio Disney. She knows every single word. I finally drew the line the other day when she begged me to buy her a T-Shirt with Zack Ephron's photo on it. It was right after she said, "But Mom, he's so hot!"

I was telling my older sister and she reminded me that I was only about a year or two older than my daughter when I had a mad crush on David Cassidy. I guess i just really dated myself with that confession!
