PS. - that's a shot of the family minus DS-21 now 19 at the time - this is from our Mexican Rivera cruise July 23-30, 2005. The family vacation.

Great pic Laura:thumbsup2

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Lisa please don't take it personally, the last time it was Capt, the next time it'll be me. Well just ignore the whole thing. I was feeling a little down about a few things I read before I got the spam........the spam just put the icing on the cake. This too shall pass and the TOAL will rock :grouphug:

Note to self: They are trying to get a rise out of us. Don't let them do that.

Thank you all. :goodvibes

We aren't the only ones who have gotten this. I have been contacted by some not on our thread who have received the email as well. :furious:

Lisa, I did not even realize that I had received this email. I personally do not anything about this group nor would I every take the time to know them with this kind of ploy. I think that they are just jealous. We have gotten more numerous and have gotten to know each other. Someone over there is just hurt that their site is not "Cheers". I like many if not all here applaud your efforts and yes even your obsessive organisational skills. This is like nothing like many of us have every experienced. This brings to mind my FIL favorite saying. "I am the luckiest S.O.*. in the whole world." You want to know my reasons. 1) I get to take my family on a trip through the Panama Canal. 2) I get take this trip on the Disney Magic for 15 days. 3) We get to travel with a fun group of people that all share the dreams of Walt. Yes I am the luckiest S.O.*. in the whole world. Thanks Lisa!!

Lisa,

While I rarely post, I really want to thank you for all you do with this board. And thanks to so many others for some entertaining chatter.

The email is very unfortunate.

On the bright side, it seems like very few folks have signed up on that other web site since the last time an email was sent a couple of weeks ago.

So Lisa, Chin up... Cause you rock!

Posting Summary 40001 - 41000:

- Our motto: It's not that we forget, it's that with 1,000 posts a day, it's hard to remember.
- Remembering bands that can no longer sing well & the songs we loved.
- Disney Magic going thru TPC 2005
- Who is going to win the big jackpot & pay for everyone's cruise?
- Atakaratemom hangs on to the 41000 pirate.
- Score: Wenches 28 Jack 4 Swabbies 8 Evil Twins 1

Good night everyone. Dentist appointment in the morning so it will be a while before I am around. I'm pretty sure that you guys can take care of things while I am gone. :)

Ouch, the guys hurt my ears tonight. Not good!
I agree!

Oh wow! I didn't realize we were close! I finally got a pirate: and I wasn't even trying!
Awesome- way to go Mary!

I have said earlier that I sell lottery--I spend probably less than $20 a year. But I do have a couple of customers that spend upwards of $500-$4000 per week. I don't care how much $ I had to "throw away" I could never do that.

We went to Vegas last March didn't gamble even a penny.
I heard on the news one store that has had a lot of winners in the past- the employees were saying one guy spent $1500 on lottery tickets. Now see, that is just ridiculous. Unless the guy is already a millionaire and has money to blow like crazy, that's CRAZY to spend that much! If he wants to throw away that much money on nothing to benefit himself- he can come pay my mortgage. For crying out loud. LOL

oops that's not the pic.! wow, i don't understand my computer
sometimes.... , like a mind of its own. here's the real
me!

ack, you're scary!!1 :eek

Oohhhhhhh, so that email wasn't just to this group but DIS'ers in general, or DIS cruisers. I wish I knew who that person was- it was the same person that emailed us the first time... (just out of curiosity)

This is DS9's week for farm chores at school. He has to be at school at 7:30(!) to help Farmer Steve with the farm. He thinks it's a blast. I think getting the boys to school in two shifts is a bit of a pain. Today, he had the same jobs as yesterday - feed the cow, two pigs, six sheep, and 50-70 chickens, then water all the plants in the greenhouse. Farmer Steve feeds the llama (maybe it bites :confused3 ) According to DS9 - feeding the animals is way more fun than watering.

If feeding the animals is so much fun, how come I have trouble getting him to feed the dogs? Huh? Huh?

Tomorrow DH has lasik - again. He got lased about 6 months ago. His vision went from about 20/1200 to 20/40. He's pretty jazzed. But, the doc isn't satisfied. Want's another shot at getting him to 20/20 or better - no charge. His explination at the pre-op on Monday was - "we're going to have to two putt on this to get it in the hole". DH responded - "two putt? I'm just glad to be in the country club!"

I watched his first surgery. Gave me the heebie jeebies. :crazy2: I have no desire to do this. But, I can understand DH's desire. My eyesight is 20/40 uncorrected - I can't imagine what he was living with. It's just too bad he couldn't see anything back when I was skinny...

Good night to all. Sweet dreams:)

OK all - hope this works - I hope you all enjoy and get to make your own pixiedust: memories in '08 (keep in mind this was at 8 pm - 1/2 hr to late seating)

Also - the next step is to learn how to resize so please accept my apologies if I'm driving you  on the sizing

Yes the email was sent by the same person as last time. It was a pretty nasty email. I will forward the contents to anyone who wants it via PM...

Cool picture!! Thanks for sharing. Hard to believe I'll be able to see this myself soon. ("Soon" relative to the time it takes my son to get his homework done!)

:flower3: thank you lisa for bringing us together. whatever bad things
they/or individual is saying...we all know better. :thumbsup2

* it is aggravating when others with unsolved issues, where they
feel the only attentions they can produce is by hurting others.
passive/aggressive behaviors are one step away from being mentally
ill. they are not being clever...instead they drive everyone
away- even their own family. [ they blame everyone for their mistakes,
except themselves. unless they are motivated toward treatment,
they will live miserable lives. ]

while this is a first go for me and family, doing a disney dis'er cruise,
the benefits have already been rewarding and beyond our expectations.
and what is being accomplished, is the preserving of all things that mr.
walt disney had hoped for. "sharing the magic with our families is the
disney thing to do!" when i have assisted others with broken dreams
and lives...this is where i begin * the results have been truly better
than i could have ever imagined.

what i have seen from time to time, are those with personalities disorders
trying to belong. there's nothing wrong with that except when the resort
to manipulations instead of taking a corrective measure. but i would not
let those with any disorders stopped me from enjoying the true meanings
of a disney cruise...if they crossed me, i will offer compassion, but if
that dosen't help, then there are interventions.

to those posting your lil 'miracles and heart-felt struggles, i just like to
say i was very impressed and touched with all the kindness you have
demonstrated. i am sorry if anyone used that as a way to projected
their "baggage. i have read reader digest stories since the 70's, they
have nothing on any of you...& i am sure there is no one capable of
taking away the good things you stand for. :thumbsup2 . and while
i do come here for the fun....i share my family because i believe you
are trust worthy.
