We have the puke bucket here. OY! When the kids want to go to bed with that I know that they aren't doing well.

But why, oh why, when the puke bucket is RIGHT there, do they miss it eveytime? My children have very poor aim!

That's why we go for the wide, shallow bowl instead of the bucket. Makes a world of difference.

Not only does a teaspoon of sugar help the medicine go down, it also gets rid of the hiccups!!!

Angelina came home from school one day and told me that, so the next time I had the hiccups I tried it and it worked. Just did it again a few minutes ago and the hiccups stopped immediately.

I did that ONCE and thought it was so icky sweet that I'd rather keep the hiccups.

I taught this to DD and now everytime that she gets hiccups she wants sugar. DW does not like them using sugar and perfers the old standard options (drinking upside down) especially late at night.

Its so close to me, just up on 'ONE' railway, but I havent been to Norfolk or the broads for some time.

Will have to go back very soon.

It is 1 pm for alcohol sales. Sundays are always very busy at my Shell, we are right across the bridge from Indiana and they can't sell at all on Sundays!
I don't complain at all about their laws

Boy, here in Wisconsin, we don't really have any rules about alcohol sales for specific days of the week, we just have no sales after 9:00pm! We always joke that every town, no matter how small, has more bars than banks! Stopping in is a great way to meet people too!

In my little village, there has to be a completely seperate area for alcohol sales that can be completely shut at 9pm. For example, the grocery stores that sell it have to have a different area completely enclosed with a door that locks at 9:00, plus it has to have its own checkout area.

But, that is very unusual in our area...

Oh well, at least I can go buy some beer today, we need to finish it off the wall!

And, while we're on the subject, how would an Obsessive-Compulsive Planner reach rock-bottom? We know to plan to avoid that, don't we?

Out here on the West Coast I'm just getting ready to cook - Grilled Salmon - Asparagus w/Meyer Lemon Hollandaise sauce - spinach salad and chilled Chardonnay. Oops - I forgot dessert - oh well! I'll think of something.
