regretfully, thiss seems to be the case. If so then this is our first case of it in over 15 years!
Seems kind of sad to think anyone could THINK they'd get away with pinching enough random parcels to make the risk worth it? (is it ever worth it?) Or maybe it's just a mismatch of personal capabilities to the job with a new driver? My sister in laws' brother - who lives near by is a regional supervisor for UPS. When-ever I've had occasion to meet a UPS driver I've always casually mentioned this fact .... "I'm family with management".... not meaning to threaten anyone - just that we DO get a LOT of UPS and FedEX deliveries. And with UPS at least we would like normal and customary service. I just might mention this instance to my SILs' brother come monday. I'm out of town fer most of today as we're planning on meeting another family to hit
Disneyland. Then off to a birthday gathering for the spouse of one of my oldest and best friends... conveniently half way between us and DL. The family we are hooking up with for DL has a parent who appears to be
metastatic with cancer. She already had a kidney removed last year to try and forestall the spread - but the signs are emerging now that last years surgery was not in time to save her. The weeks and months to come will conclusively confirm the spread and stage 4 condition - as she just confided with us last week that they found spots on her last scan. Sad... as they have a 1.75 year old boy and no other family locally. They are the nicest folks too.... and of our age (low 40s).
At any rate, back to my search for my 7 question posting which I posed for this weekend...
