Speaking of cell phones.... does anyone else leave their cell phones on all night???

I do and boy is it irritating when it goes off at 3am. Some silly person from a 214 area code. Didn't bother to answer it because it wasn't a number I recognized. Found out later this morning it's a cell phone in Texas.

So I'm still reading my new cookbook and just came across a receipe for Irish Cream Brownies and one for Apple Martini's.

I don't believe this. Hazel just called again, they stopped to go to the bathroom, got back on the road and headed north again instead of south. Now they are another hour farther away than the last time she called. I told her if they keep this up, they will wind up in Cananda, eh!!!

At this rate, they might be home for breakfast tomorrow morning........

Keep mine on 24/7 - except when the battery runs out. Every once in a while I get some real wacko calls - like the one from Germany.

Sounds like they might need to follow the lead of that astronaut chick and buy some depends so they don't need to make any more rest stops. Every time they stop, they end up going the wrong way!

Who's birthday is it???? I did not see any of your family's birthdays listed

Rebecca's golden birthday is tomorrow, March 5th. We've been having the three-day Princess Birthday Extragavanza around here -- Dinner yesterday at Cheesecake Factory, movie and present opening today, followed by cake tonight and cupcakes at school tomorrow.

(SWMBO has a birthday on Friday, but it is nowhere near the production number of the Princess' 5th).

Yes, I leave mine on all the time, but it is usually down in the den. It has a privacy setting I can use to silence the ringtone at night.

I leave it on b/c if I didn't, I would forget to turn it on and then get to the office and find out someone has been trying to call me for an hour.

DH just called me downstairs. He was watching VH1's Bands Reunited Show and they reunited Patty Smyth and Scandal. It was very cool, but I'm not sure if it made me feel happily retro or about 100 years old!

Gee, it took me all morning to ketchup! Now I'm on my way to do errands and cook ahead for next week.

Tomorrow I'm having oral surgery - (bone graft ) - 2 1/2 - 3hr. procedure. I had it done already on the right upper - now its the left upper. I might miss a few days here - last time it took quite awhile for the swellng to go down & the pain to subside.

We drove through the night when we went last year. I stopped at the first rest stop in every state, and woke the kids for a potty break. It was my feeble attempt to imprint the geography into their little brains. However, a friend of mine pointed out that I probably only imprinted a bizarre need to potty immediately upon entering a new state.
