I'm so confused.

I'm trying to ketchup but I seem to be getting bounced to other pages.

Hello everyone. Maybe I'll get on the same page soon.

Geesh! Go out for an ice cream run and I'm 10 pages behind. Caught up now. I got:

Vanilla for me

Chocolate for the girls

None for DW shes on nutirsystem and will probably kill me for saying it but I'm so proud of her she lost 23 lbs since Jan. 2nd

Got 2 new flavors from Ben & J

Creme Brule and Vermonty Python.:cool2:

I really should load the dishwasher...been meaning to do it since I got home from work at 2:00. D**n boards :)

Gotta love Toby and Big & Rich! DH is really into country - he would like yours and Lisa's.

I have a ton of CDs to download. Once I get Garth, Vince Gill, Reba, Wynona, Lonestar, & B&D on there along with others...it will be really good. :goodvibes

As a member of both web sites, please let me assure you that no one there has been sending these e-mails, and it upsets the people there very much that this has been going on. Most of the people who post on the other site are members here as well. There are only a handful who have been banned from here. The other site was started when our Meets thread over here for the 2005 eastbound Panama Canal cruise was locked, not because "this group is people who have been banned from DIS." I have been a member here for a long time and have always followed the rules, but we needed a place to plan our cruise and had no where else to go. I have met some of you on other cruises and have met people on that site as well. I wish this animosity would stop and that everyone would realize that everyone is allowed to belong to multiple Disney news groups as a way of making friends and gathering information for Disney vacations.

Thank you for listening.

Denise

Hey there Denise! Thanks for posting your concerns. I think we are all certainly on the same page in the we want it to all be resolved. It was posted earlier today by Lisa and much more eloquently than I could ever hope to say it....that many people on this thread are new. They don't know the history, the bannings, the lockings etc. All they know is that they are getting email from someone that appears to be from the other site. I think it has been established that you guys don't know that person either...but for people who don't know the history...it looks like someone from over there is bashing someone from over here. It will just take a couple of days for the information that this person doesn't represent the other group to make it's way around this massive group of people!

I think a bus rental from the DL area to the port would be tremendous fun. I have not volunteered to arrange it because I thought there would be someone from the area with prior knowledge, but I am happy to look into it -- Lisa, sign me up! I will arrange bus transport if enough people want it . . .

We can work on finding a company there. :) I do have contact information for the FL transfer company from the port to MCO. I just can't be the person to coordinate it with everything else.

Wow what a day!

I hope tomorrow is better for all of us!!

Have a great nite everyone and talk to you all tomorrow:grouphug:

Ok all - went and did some FYI exploration. For those staying at HOJO next year - took some pictures and as soon as I can find where the dang program put them I'll upload - most likely later this evening. However, did find out some info for you:

1. - I'm impressed - clean and tucked away into a corner - borders the freeway but still decent and somewhat more quieter than the other hotels right across.
2. - There is a Mimi's Cafe and a KFC within a 1-minute walk :lmao: actually its right across the street it'll take you 30 seconds.
3. - McDee's is within 3 minutes, there's also a Millie's restaurant on the other side of KFC.
4. - NOTE: Your view of DL will be blocked unless your on the high floor of building 1.
5. - Talked with some hotel guests in pool #2 AKA Garden Pool - rooms have 2 queen beds and they had 3 small boys - said they had a cot brought in and it was sufficient for them.
6. - Bldg 2 (4 stories) is the one by the Garden Pool and is tucked the furthest away from the front - however, the back borders a fwy which does have a sound wall - plus side - no noisy traffice behind you.
7. - Bldg's 6, 5, 4, 3 are low buildings 2 stories - sorry had a :headache: moment on that one. Building 1 (7 stories) is the high tower.
8. - 2 Pools - front one is within sight of the Monorail track and closest to Harbour Blvd.
9. - SMALL fountain in the middle of a courtyard
10. - OH Yeah - has a wading pool for the young'uns.
11. - Front desk has 2 free internet site ( which I took a picture of will post later)
12. - Arcade room - small but decent - directly across from the gift shop in bldg 1 - sorry forgot to check hours
13. - Laundry rooms are located in Bldg # on 1st floor, Bldg 1 in basement, there is a soda vending machine and ice machine on each floor at the end of the bldgs
14. - parking MAY be a problem during summer since its tucked away into a triangle part but I'm sure there's plenty.
15. - Front desk is small but easily accessible even to wheelchairs.
16. - Pool has outside shower and men's and women's bathroom next to wading pool - I took a picture will upload later.

Let's see - bldge 6 and 5 seem to under renovation so you'll all have some comfy sheets and new painted walls - couldn't get a decent picture of the size of the rooms but they looked decent - nothing too spacious but the grounds looked very clean and the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I just went up to them and explained I was doing some research for a 'couple' of friends of mine and they let me on the grounds. Was considering asking them to let me view a room but thought that I might be pushing my luck that way.

OK - will post pictures later - let me know if you all have any questions.

Oh Yeah - the most important of all - you are litereally across the street but your view of DL will be obstructed. You MUST cross in a marked pedestrian walkway as Harbour is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to cross jay walking - this will add maybe 5-8 minutes depending on the speed of your walk. Crosswalk is up the street a bit.

Ooops - more info I forgot: CVS/Sav-On drug store, Vons Grocery Store within 1 mile - Post Office also within driving distance. An ATM is located at the McDee's 2 minutes away. Convention center about 10 minutes away - actually you might be able to see the top of it - it borders DL. AMC Movie theatres at Downtown Disney Western Medical not too far if anyone need medical attn.

Check Cashing at front desk - Traveler's check up to $100 per day per room and subject to availability of funds. Personal checks not accepted.

BTW, pool temp is 80 degrees - spa is 102.
Taxi's service area and have a separate number for that. However, there is a city run shuttle service that runs every 20 minutes - can get in in the hotel parking area - there is a space for them. The charge is $3.00 per adult over the age of 10 - IOW kids 10 and under are free - bus runs 1/2 hr before parks open up to 1/2 hr after parks close.

OK - that's all I can think of now - later - ask ?'s if you want.

Oh my gosh, I just type a huge post and then accidently hit something and it went away. I will try again.

Gee, thanks everyone for your well wishes. I really appreciate your kindness and pixiedust. Went to the docs this am and she said my cold has progressed into a sinus infection. Gave me lots of drugs so hopefully, it will be over soon. I am tired of being sick and tired.

So glad that you are feeling better and are soon back to your ole self:)

Great info! I love history and going to see that kind of stuff - think I know what I'll be doing in Cartegena now. Thanks for posting this.

I am wondering if there is a tour company that we could book a group tour with? Cruisecritic.com should have some information. Putting on the list of things to do. :thumbsup2

Time to go feed the boys and watch Idol.

In case anyone ever wondered why I don't feed DD.....she's a dancer. She teaches, she dances with a troupe, and she dances with her squad at school....which, by the way, just took First in State!.....so she's never home. Otherwise, I'd feed her too. Honest.

This will be a game of 7's Touch Rugby on the beach, Co-Ed, no tackiling. 7's rugby is the summer version of conventional 15 a side Rugby Union, with 7 min halfs for a total of 14 min. playing time. So we're looking at a total of max 1/2 hour on the beach.

We would need a couple of hookers I mean subs.

I would like to have 2 practices durning the cruise on the sports deck during the week. At this time we would assign positions and give out jerseys.

I will provide jerseys for the participants as well as refreshments at the Chonched out bar post game.

If your interested please PM me and let me know your shirt size.

I would also need a referee. Preferably someone familiar with the rules of the game.

Thanks, Pete

Updated list of participants, now to sample the creme brule Ben & J's:)

Wow Laura that was awesome that you did that! I am staying with my SIL pre-cruise, but I am very impressed and appreciative that you did that for us! Thanks!

I have looked a little....but haven't seen any good ideas for groups. For us Moms, I think we may just wander the main plaza for a while, museums and such....would like to see some gory stuff, like the gallows ( ) then shop, and probably just go back to the ship and float in the pool.

Then again...we may want to expand on that....how many days of being on the ship will we have had by then?
