Talking about naps and dreams - it must be the meds - I keep falling asleep but this afternoon I was dring a red Mustang on a red highway - ging really fast then the road ended & I flew into space - I was saying oh this is it I'm a goner. I woke up with my heart pounding! Must be the drugs!

1 lb. kale or other dark cabbage
3 lbs. potatoes (Yukon Golds are best)
1 onion, chopped
1 stick butter
4 oz cream
Pinch of dill
Pinch of nutmeg or mace
Salt and white pepper to taste

Hope you feel better superty quick. I've had chronic ear infections my entire life and they are miserable!!! Hopefully you've got some augmentin to knock it out quick!!!

Every so often I will have a dream where DH did something that made me really angry. I wake up really POed at him and it takes me awhile to figure out why.

I like my new washer and dryer, but I think my old dryer did better. Some things are coming out wrinkled, even though I am taking them out right away. This may be due to the washer making things more wrinkled. I haven't stopped washing and drying yet, but nothing has been put away. Folded, but not put away. I've washed about 6 blankets so far too. Guess I just have to get used to the new stuff. I didn't like the price of the HE detergent at first. $22!! But it seems like it will be cheaper in the long run because you hardly use any of it per load.

Hi Caroline, hope you get to liking it better. My SIL kept on using her regular dtergent in her HE--it caused it to mess up (nothing major) she wasn't reducung the amount. She now uses 1/3 of her regular liquid det and really likes it. When we bought our new W&D last year, I wish I would have gotten the front loaders.

Hmmmm, perhaps only our council (for what ever reason) changed the name. We have this problem where we are on the border of two GS Councils...Our's sells the cookies for $4/box and the next town over who is in the other council sells theirs for $3.25/box. I can't tell you how much greif us parents get for that one.

Wow, that is not right! Our council tries to never go more than surrounding councils. They were the same this year. We had trouble though because the baker we get from didn't have the sugar-free cookies and people had heard about them on the news.

Although my family is on this cruise, I do not post here very much. I just got a very disconserting e-mail. I wonder how they got my e-mail address. I understand that this group is people who have been banned from DIS. It is so funny that they have to recruit members. Anyone who can give me any insight, post here or PM me.

Why not join a group of like-minded DCL cruisers that will actually value your independent thinking? That will actually speak up for your right to have your own thoughts and express your own feelings without fear of total censorship.

Thanks for the offer! But I really haven't told him much about the cruise yet except that we are going. He did participate with the DISers on the last cruise after I sprung it on him the day of.

He always stops at an Egyptian restaurant when he is there to eat. Guess he misses the food still.
