OMG this is the best ice cream ever. This is the first order of business when we visit our friends in Cinci. My favorite is the buckeye. yummy, chocolate and peanut butter. My DD order Mint chocolate chip one time and got a huge piece of chocolate in it. It was like winning the ice cream lottery.

Oh yes, of course the Buckeye flavor is great! I love how you put that "winning the ice cream lottery"....such a bonus when I get one of those big chunks of fudge in my serving.....

Hi everyone just got done reading all the posts. WOW.

All I have to say right now is -

LISA PRICELESS!!

Thank you for all you do!!!!

It must be those OHIO dairy cows.

I've heard nice things about The Villages, which is in Lake County, the same county our place is in, but we aren't in a retirement community. The area that we are in has mobile homes as well as cinder block homes. Our place is a few miles from the city of Deland, which is a nice little city.

Thanks Andy. I am taking notes for places to definitely check out in Sept.:woohoo: We really are not looking for a retirement community. We do not want to be one of those"crabby old people." Being around all age groups keeps you young minded!!!!!:thumbsup2

Anyone else have any suggestions of towns around the Mouse in Florida.

That they do. We went to the Chicago Auto Show a few weeks back. We were supposed to be looking for boring family sedans and I couldn't stay away from the big trucks. Not that they would fit in my garage, mind you, but still...

You use your garage for cars??

WOOHOO a little :cool1: For the FedEx delivery I received today ... my tickets to The Police concert

This concert is at Fenway Park on Sunday July 29th ... just in case anyone in that neck of the woods wanted to try and score tickets :rolleyes1 Psst, Mary Ann ... that'd be you ;)

It's going to be in the 20's and 30's this week. We'll "spring ahead" with the clocks this Saturday and then next week it will be in the 50's you'll see.:) :flower3: Springtime!

I saw at lunchtime that we are going to be in the 50's and even might make 62* next Wednesday, I'm all for that after these past few days!!! :thumbsup2

My boss approved my vacation time for next month, if ALL goes well, we should be heading to Florida on March 31st and will be there until Easter Sunday morning most likely, since I don't have to be back to work until that following Tuesday. ;)

The baby is all grown up. Does he look like you????
I think all parents deserve an award for letting their children grow-up. Children do not make life easy but add lots of excitement to life.:scared1:
Hmm, is there any other option? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

hi everyone i was hoping to hit the lottery to pay for everyones cruise but i didnt even win a dollar:sad2:

Oh Fairy Godmother

I need some advice, I ordered some 18th century patterns from a site called Granndgarb.com and Reconstructionghistory.com, do you know of any other sites that carry period costume patterns?
I am checking into this for you. I will get back to you when I know something more.

So just how much does it cost to ship ice cream. I think you should check it out for me. And have some ice cream for me while you are there.

That is funny. We have a 3 car garage and right now Mark is driving my next vehicle, (GM drive and buy) which is extended and my truck now is an extended Yukon so we go from front to garage door with the trucks and then my 3rd bay is full of stuff. No extra room for us.

MP3 finally charged and here's what I got

My Last Yeehaw - Cowboy Troy
Gone - Montgomery Gentry
Consuming Fire - Third Day
Good as I Once Was - Toby Keith

..ok, this is what should been "a boy's first love"...:lmao:

[i can't believe how much "stuff" he put in this old truck we gave him.]

* however, it wasn't lost how he wrecked his brother's accord,
just "practicing" driving..2 miles to& fro school! boy , if it
wasn't for the "car"..he could have been hurt..it jumped over a
20'foot revene..( he blame it on the car tires, :confused3 ..
ha! it had those mic. that you see on tv "trying" to slide on
water).. to say i was  would be an understatment.....) then
the patrol put up a guardrail...we call it "patrick". :rolleyes1

* anyway..this is the "baby" i was talking about..all grown up! we
deserve some sort of award!

can you tell he like his truck...;) , he washes and waxes all the time...
but can we ever get him to clean his roooooom, noooooo! :snooty:

Hey Grump, you were freaking me out there, at first I thought you had identical quads...............:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tom, do you ever sleep?I remember the days I could stay up that late. Not anymore sadly to say. Love the pics of you and the spouse. Can't wait to meet you in person as you seem like a really fun guy.

Well...

... some might say I'm just a little crazy (my spouse - but then again she married me and is still here after 22 years running around the world - go figure)... at any rate, thank you for the implied vote of confidence. And remember, you still have time to retract your comliments ON the ship... after you see how I'm plannin' on decorating MY DOOR. Last september on the 11 nite I messed up... I couldn't get the extension cord under the door to power up the stuff I brought. <chuckles> Next year I'm gonna have a better ... PLAN.

I saw some awesome deals on the Lexar Professional compactflash cards but, of course, dopey me didn't pay attention to the rebate deadline and they expired :headache: But now the deals are on Kingston Professional/Ultimate cards. I thought about getting DW an 8Gb card but I don't *think* she'll be taking that many photos... :confused3

Jonesing - hope you don't mind putting my 2 cents in but let me share something that happened to me on the 11-Nighter in Sept. For some reason, right in the middle of the cruise - about 5 days in - in Antigua to be exact, I lost over 500 photos on my 4 gig card - compactflash. It ended up being some kind of spark or someone got a hold of it and JUMBLED everything - my friend called it mojo'd. Anyway, to make a long story short somewhat, tried to recover it in some shop. NOPE! All gone - I was going to reformat but some little voice told me not too. Then I got home and contacted a friend who had friends in HIGH HIGH places. W/O going into details my photos were finally recovered but no thanks to me.

My friend HIGHLY suggested that I still to a 1 GB and buy several of them - he also suggested to stick to SanDisk as most government agencies use that brand and have the software to recover any info. (Read into it what you want here :cool2: - AKA Witness Protection ;) ) I, however didn't listen and when he said 1, I thought he said 2 and went out and bought a SanDisk Extremem Fast 2 GB - scared to use it but have since bought several other 1 gb just in case! Anyway, back to my story - lost only about 15 of them and several were patchworked together but the one I most wanted - my MASTERCARD PRICELESS memory ones were finally recovered - I told you all that I had a photogod watching over me - when I finally learn how to resize correctly just may have to post those - they're hilarious - ask some of the 11_nighters that have seen them - :rotfl2: :lmao:

(Lets just say it involves DH, Brand new camcorder and the Devil's Triangle!)

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Hi Andy:wave:

How are your knees?

Hi Peter,

My left knee is really aching this evening, walking around in the sn*w all day didn't help. I'm getting ready to rub both knees down again with Mineral Ice, that does help. My knees have been feeling a bit better since I've been on the Mobic the past 10 days or so!!! I see my orthopedic doc on March 27th.
