So YOU are the one who isn't sharing spring with the rest of us! Give it up Stace! Share the warmth.

At least it is snowing here. That's a good sign. It has been too cold to snow here for the last 3 weeks. I like snow. ...and we leave for Maui in 197 hours and 28 minutes...

There you go, right to the important part!
I have to tell you, DH doing his own obsessive cruise planning. He brought Rugby for Dummies home last night! :lmao: Saw it in someones office at work and asked to borrow it!

Wench fluffing.

That's funny. I have that book. It's actually very good. That's all you need to know.:thumbsup2

BIP -

I know what it is like to not know & all the panic that goes along with it. You know you can lean on the people here all that you need to, but we will also respect your space if that is what you need.

Here is some pixie dust pixiedust: and some non-salty cake :cake:

Ok that's funny I don't care who you are! God bless the starving pygmies in .....

Ketchupin' from overnight....

HEY.... no fair. If you're having a mini mini-meet in MA, you have to have it somewhere on the T line so I can take the train down!!

Off to ketchup from this morning.....

MaryAnn already offered, but I will definitely come pick you up in Boston too. I think we should definitely plan one.

Very windy here last night - wokes us up a couple of times it was so loud.

Same here! Suppose to be in the 50's over the weekend. Woohoo! Get out the shorts!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh no, no Bunco, and no Sing-a-longs either....sorry folks! ;)

I don't know how to play Bunco or Euchre (or whatever it's called) or barely even Poker, but I'm willing to learn. I love games!

MR waddaya mean no singalongs? I can't survive without singalongs!

I will survive!!!

Oh my she is a beauty!!!

Tomorrow DH has lasik - again. He got lased about 6 months ago. His vision went from about 20/1200 to 20/40. He's pretty jazzed. But, the doc isn't satisfied. Want's another shot at getting him to 20/20 or better - no charge. His explination at the pre-op on Monday was - "we're going to have to two putt on this to get it in the hole". DH responded - "two putt? I'm just glad to be in the country club!"

I watched his first surgery. Gave me the heebie jeebies. :crazy2: I have no desire to do this. But, I can understand DH's desire. My eyesight is 20/40 uncorrected - I can't imagine what he was living with. It's just too bad he couldn't see anything back when I was skinny...

I had Lasik surgery up in Montreal in 2003. Best thing I ever did. We went during Feb. vacation & made a little mini vaca. out of it. The city is so clean & beautiful. Loved the underground malls & restaurants! It was great!

trying another shot with photobucket resizing - sorry all - your my guinea pigs...er....guinea pirate:

This one was shot a couple of seconds later with no flash whatsoever - but I still like this one also! :upsidedow Forgive me - had too much sun w/o protection - long day. NOTE TO SELF: Next time bring an :beach:

I appreciate everyone's well wishes, thoughts and prayers. I apologize for not being able to respond to all the posts individually or multi-quote but I just don't have it in me right now. To say I'm a bit depressed would be an understatement. I don't even really want to talk about it -atleast not yet. but it appears that either something happened like a stroke or something or I have Bell's palsy or something and dealing with the non-functioning part of my face & mouth right now is well... not fun. I'm not even sure if I should post that because now if it doesn't go away I'm going to think everyone is looking at me on the cruise.
:( I'm only 37yrs old and was not prepared for something like this at this stage of my life. I've never been pretty- I know that. But it's like God had to say oh you think you're ugly now, you haven't seen nothing yet... it can always get worse little missy.

:(
Atleast I know my tears work in both eyes.

Oh MY BIP! I don't even know what to say. I'm crying right along with you bud & I hope you get answers real soon! Keep us updated! :grouphug:

OK, guys....this is getting embarrasing. This group isn't the way it is because of me. It is because of everyone here. :)

Lisa I already mentioned to you in a PM a while back telling you how much I appreciated all your work here, but I just wanted to let you know that it is not only how hard you work putting the website together, updates, etc. but also how kind you are to everyone. Let's just hope that kindness & compassion are contagious!

Hi -
Just checking in - Thank you all for the well wishes - I survived my (3hr) surgery and I'm doing okay thanks to Vicodin!

Glad you are doing okay! Hang in there!

Okay lately I've been doing a lot of "post & runs" & I think today will be no different! I get caught up & it's time to get some work done. IE: laundry, cooking, etc. DH & kids do not appreciate my DIS addiction. By the time I even finish typing all this & posting...pages will have gone by. :rolleyes1 Have a good day all!!!!

:badpc: ..all day today, figures!....then late last night, i didn't
realized the pics i was trying to post were not correct until
afterwards..so nothing came out as intended, but i think no
one picked that up...par for the course....:lmao:

so , let me "see" if i can do a lil' corrective measure....

http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i75/mrmerlin56/Picture2.gif?t=1173297891

..ok, this is what should been "a boy's first love"...:lmao:

[i can't believe how much "stuff" he put in this old truck we gave him.]

* however, it wasn't lost how he wrecked his brother's accord,
just "practicing" driving..2 miles to& fro school! boy , if it
wasn't for the "car"..he could have been hurt..it jumped over a
20'foot revene..( he blame it on the car tires, :confused3 ..
ha! it had those mic. that you see on tv "trying" to slide on
water).. to say i was  would be an understatment.....) then
the patrol put up a guardrail...we call it "patrick". :rolleyes1

* anyway..this is the "baby" i was talking about..all grown up! we
deserve some sort of award!

can you tell he like his truck...;) , he washes and waxes all the time...
but can we ever get him to clean his roooooom, noooooo! :snooty:
