I have several uncles who are ::cop: in NJ...Hudson County to be exact. It's not a phenomenon I'm unfamiliar with unfortunately.

I need to identify one of our head servers, (have his name but not his country or last name) and am hoping that someone on this board may recognize him or know if he's still on board.

Yes it does..........and the big day is a week from Saturday where we are all Irish for the day! (whether you like it or not)

THe St. Patrick's Day parade is this coming Sunday (I know - not St. Patty's day - don't ask) so well be having corned beef and cabbage then and again on the real St. Patricks Day! Got my Harp, just need my soda bread and I'm all set! Erin Go Bragh!

Oh, and I'll be singing pub songs.

Boy, you guys are really taking me back to Freshman year in HS tonight.

But did you see Loverboy on the show last year when they brought the 80's bands back to sing their hits? I don't remember the name of the show, but DW and I loved watching it. Some of these groups were really awful.

I remember the Outfield came to the county fair here a few years back. We went over to where they were playing, heard one verse and left. They were NOTHING like they were in the 80's.

Yes Jeff I did watch that show......one of my ALL time favorites Billy Vera was one. I love his song At This Moment.....and well he was God Awful....somethings are better left in our memory I think!

Me too!! Both names and faces. Names forget about it, faces, well they will look familiar but I will always think, "hey, I know they look like someone I know, but have no idea where I may (or may not) have met them

I'm right there with you. Even though I have met you and conversed with you via these boards -- I guarantee I will recognize you and still forget your name when we meet. It is some kind of mental block that prohibits me from remembering someone's name, even though I knew it five minutes before.
