My first car (with DH, then DBF) a 1974 Pinto Station Wagon. It was powder blue and I put a bumper sticker on it that said I Heart General Hospital. Those were the days! That car saw alot of action...........just don't hit us in the rear or we would have exploded Sure glad that didn't happen.

But did you really heart General Hospital?

My dad had a '77 Pinto hatchback for his commuter car. Manual transmission, no air, but it was new. Looking back, they must have been pretty desperate for a second car!

The '80's were good - 10 years later they were giving their 16yo a year old pretty darn good car.

That's what I did...got a puppy! They (meaning DH, DD, & DS) were bugging me to have another baby, so I got a puppy. Sometimes lately though, I start to get the hankering for another little one to care for, but then I remember that in about 10 years I'll be able to take that trip to Vegas, Ireland, Bermuda etc. sans kids I've been dreaming of!

The kids teamed up to tell me that they want a baby brother...while I was driving them to school yesterday morning. We were already running late. I told them that they can spend time with our friend's babies.

My mom's husband was admitted to the hospital Monday for some prostate problems. They did surgery on him today and my mom just called to say that he is currently on a ventilator. They have called in a pulmonary specialist and she is waiting for some news. Please say a few prayers for them.

I am so sorry.

Hi guys just wanted to pop in and say thanks for missing me. I have been disguised by Enna in her 12 step program and am masquerading as a homeschoolteacher in an undisclosed location....remember new grade level....

Maybe I am not supposed to break the secret but to anyone who wants to know who THeresa is.....she is my homeschool buddy DIALADY.

Spent most of yesterday on computer booking .......drum roll.........

I just found out that a friend of the family got his PSA results in and his count was 15, which is very, very high and most likely Prostate Cancer. I had the PSA test done last year, my count was 0.4

Aw Andy. I will say another prayer tonight also.

Well, it looks like I am not going to catch up tonight so I will tell you what I did today instead of being here. I ran in to the school to pick up the last of the boxtops since they were due today and found a letter from the school board to Kathryn...so I took that too & dropped it off at her house. We started talking about what is happening at the school and 3 hours later I went home, had lunch, ran to the grocery store, dropped off the packages at the PO, and put everything away then rested my eyes on the couch while waiting for the kids to come home. They got here then I rested a bit more, made dinner, cleaned up, and finally got to check in.

Tomorrow is the first goal committee meeting at the school. This is made up of parents and teachers to make recommendations to the principal of what we expect to happen now. We need to take advantage of the voice that the board has given us...though this isn't going to be easy. That will take a couple hours at least and I will have to unwind from the stress.

I called Pizza Hut to order a pizza one night. We wanted a medium. They were out of mediums. All they had were large & small The girl on the phone thought I was an idiot because I just couldn't understand how they could have all the fixins for small and large, but they couldn't make a medium pizza!

You must have wanted a pan or handtossed pizza. They could have made you a thin pizza. The first two are made in the morning & set to rise. The thin is just a big bin of dough & they roll it out fresh when you order.

Which one has the most oil in it....thin, handtossed, or pan pizza dough? I'll probably post if you don't guess it by morning before the meeting.

It's the end of the month and the Bank O' Dad just paid interest to the boys accounts. DS9 got $10 and DS5 $4! Now I'm kind of sorry I had them open up a Kennel Boy business at the field trial last week.

Still, at a buck a dog - it's nice pay for scooping the pro's lines. They decided to only work for one pro - picked the one with the most dogs and walked off with $20 - each.

DH will definitely be renegoiating interest rates at the beginning of 2008. 10% (per month) is just too much. Still, they do learn about the benefits of compounding interest more quickly this way. But, at this rate they'll be taking us on this cruise!

I can't drink that anymore after hearing what is in it and how it can affect your body. It didn't help me lose weight anyway.
