My brother went to KFC on time and they were out of chicken.

I called Pizza Hut to order a pizza one night. We wanted a medium. They were out of mediums. All they had were large & small The girl on the phone thought I was an idiot because I just couldn't understand how they could have all the fixins for small and large, but they couldn't make a medium pizza!

Who knows what a cabinet is?

Isn't it a milkshake?

I am so glad this day is almost over...can we just pretend it didn't happen?!?! I'm gonna go home...(stop & pick up a pint of Ben & Jerry's first! ) Then go home, eat dinner, and then sit down, veg in front of the TV with my pint...

That's so funny! The same thing happened to us here a few weeks ago. I thought at first they were joking, but all they had left was popcorn chicken. My kids thought it was so amusing that KFC could be out of chicken!

Caroline - have you ever driven cross country before? I made it a family vacation when my kids were 8 & 10. We took 6 weeks and visited family & friends from CA to east coast with bunches of stops in between. This was on a tight budget so we camped along the way unless we stayed w/fam.,etc.

How long do you plan on taking to get here? It's a Big country - but I loved it, I got lost alot (so much for AAA maps) but met the nicest folks along the way. They took pity on a Mom & 2 kids - or they thought oh here's another Calif. nut!!

No, never cross country. Have driven up and down the east coast though. I plan on the aid of some very nice DIS friends along the way. I was figuring 2 weeks.

Very, very cool!!! Y'all are going to love it.

DH and managed the Chef's table the one time we went to V&A's, and as a walk-up no less. When we arrived to check in they had a sign on the desk saying the Chef's Table was available for the seating we had. What an awesome experience!

How lucky you all were.
