Blast! We're going to just miss each other. We're arriving 8/19 and leaving 8/29. Staying at OKW.

I'll definitely write about it when we get back. It's on the "must do" list for a bunch of people. Who knew?

Why not go this time? You might not be able to get the CT, but the regular tables are still something really special. I don't think the restaurant fills up all that fast. It's completely worth it - and be sure to get the wine parings.

Oh to bad we'll just be missing each other. And I will make it to V&A someday, but not this trip. We gotta save our pennies for a TOAL!

My family is from NY/ NJ. DHs family is from GA and SC. My lovely DD would adjust her accent based on who she was visiting. If both families got together often I think her head would explode.

So glad we didn't fly Jet Blue for our cruise or our flight would have been cancelled. Alot of unhappy people at our airport. Airtran was of course overbooked and looking for volunteers. We were flying in the day before our cruise. All I did was look at Brooke and I didn't say a word and she says to me don't even think about it, we are getting on this flight.

I probably shouldn't say 'blow up' and 'airplane' in the same sentence. For the same reason I don't travel with my friend Jackson anymore -- afraid to say "Hi, Jack" in the terminal when I meet him.

My Pink Tink has now been consigned into the scooter shop. The owner of the shop is quite sure that it won't last long before it sells,the weather has been perfect for riding here. And she says that it'll only take about 2 weeks to get my new bike in. It's supposed to be 75* tomorrow and I won't be able to get out and ride.

The various pills I have taken to fly must have done something as the worst flight I was on was when I got the "bright idea" to fly to Egypt with oldest DD myself while I was pregnant and couldn't take anything.

DH was already there. His brother was getting married. I found out I was pregnant right after he left and I wanted to surprise him. Flight even had a stop in Germany so that meant 2 take-offs and landings. Plus it was winter and the weather was a little bad. Had to wait about 45 minutes on the runway. You know things aren't good when the flight attendents take 30 minutes after take-off to get out of their seats. Here my little 4 yo had to keep me calm. I still do not know how I made it back on the plane in Germany to make it all the way there and to come home.

Took me 3 years to get back on a plane to go back to Egypt, and I haven't done it since so it's going on 6 years since I've been on a plane.

Can't say I blame you there! If my DH didn't make driving so stressful, I would never get back on a plane. We took a flight once & the captain came on & said fluid was leaking from the engine but he didn't think it was anything to worry about & they would have it checked when the plane landed. All I kept thinking is, "Don't they always say that on those flight disaster movies???" I was so scared I swore I'd never fly again if we arrived safely on the ground....but I did & I do. I just hate the 3 hours from here to Orlando so I don't know how I'm going to handle....what is it? 7 hours from Boston to LA?
