That sounds like a brilliant idea! :thumbsup2

Paula when your walking me to my cabin, will you please help me remember my swapped book.....thank you! :rotfl: :rotfl:

MR, as long as we have stayed away from those bad jello shots, a book should pose no additional problem!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well not quite 20 but our DD will be nearly 19 and beginning her sophomore year of college :thumbsup2

Catch me I'm fainting................I couldn't have just typed that my itty bitty baby girl will be a college sophomore during our Trip Of A Lifetime :sad1:

Aw sweetie - I'll be there for you...me and a blender!

There are no stinky teens...children are seen and not heard...GTY staterooms don't exist...savings accounts mysteriously replenish themselves...

Hi Shannon!!! You're kids are adorable! How have you been?

our son has recently expressed interest in joining us on this cruise we are wondering how many 20 years old's are also sailing before we check with DU on adding him to our reservation thanks

With 450 checked in so far I count

4 18 yos
1 19 yo
1 20 yo

I guess you can tell I'm struggling with this college thing a bit. We are right in the thick of it right now and it's so difficult to get my head around. Denial, I think the call it. I like it in Denialville. It's nice there........

MR, Adam will just be a fresh HS graduate when we cruise. He hasn't decided what he wants to do about college. Sometimes he mentions the military. But he has just not been that studious of a kid. I keep trying to steer him into going to the community college and taking business law, accounting and maybe some management classes. I hope to one day sell him our stores.

My grandpa was 14lbs waaaay back in 1901. His poor mother, at least I delivered via the zipper method (c-sections). Dad & my Aunt were both teensy tiny preemies Nana had trouble keeping them in. I guess thats where the size came from. Me and my sibling were all 7 & 8 lb'ers, but mom smoked like a chimney through all of us. Maybe that helped keep us down in size. Who knows.

AWWW thank MR you know how to make a girl feel good. Hopefully I shall be a lil girl again someday. Been going to WW since Sept (have only lost 10lbs, but its 10lbs) I lose like .6 one week then nothing for three weeks then another 1/2 lb. My 2 friends that go with me have lost 20 & 25 in the same time frame, I just wanna smack them.

I smoked like a chimney when pregnant - Joe was born 3 days early and weight 8 lbs 6 oz. When they examined the placenta the nurses wanted to know how late I was, told them 3 days early and they said in unison "You smoked". Anyway, the Dr. told me that if I hadn't smoked Joe would of been 10-12 lbs and I would of needed a c-section.

Yes they are!!! When my DD was about a year old we were shopping in Wal-Mart. A lady came out of nowhere and started making a fuss over my daughter and the color of her hair. (She was close to being a baldy but had the cutest curls in the back.) Any way, she kept getting closer and started reaching into her purse. I stepped between her and DD in time to see that she was getting out a pair of scissors!:scared1: She thought that she could just snip a tress of her hair to take to her hairdresser to match.:scared1: I said that she had to be *$&(#*$& kidding me and she still pressed closer to DD. :furious: At this point, my hands were clenched into fists and I was screaming for security to come and get her away from us before an ambulance was needed. Even while being escorted away by the security guard she was still blabbing about what the big deal was.:sad2:

:scared: OOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!! :scared1: That one takes the cake!

Thank you Pal  ..........snarffle.......my DIS friends are the BESTEST!......(and they come complete with blenders) :lmao:

I'll take a house there also.

Nah Maureen, we sat in the back of the bus........we were Superty Cool ;)

We never went near the driver, but other passengers didn't really want to sit in the back with us. They were a fun, funny, lively, chatty bunch of........wait a minute.......kinda like this bunch of people. Hey are we Cruise Groupies..........well I don't know about that but.....I do know that we are all really Superty Cool!! :woohoo:

I always sat in the back of the bus, except when I would ride when my fiance at the time was driving - then he wanted me right up there with him:confused3 Maybe he thought I would flirt with the passengers.

Hi Shannon.

So I am noticing there seems to be a lot of NYers. :thumbsup2 I have only driven through your city.

Thank you Enna my friend

Thanks Lisa, we will pass this along to our son. On our June 26th eastern cruise there were about 12 -- 20 year old's so our two sons had a great time they went to the first college night meeting in Diversions.
