Why does booking a Vegas vacation have to be so complicated! I'm trying to think of any other city on the planet where the goal is to weasel out of a hotel room fee! DParents' birthdays are in 3 weeks and we figured it would be easier to go to Vegas to see them rather than rushing the unpacking and getting the house in order. Besides, they'll be out in June for DS' birthday.

I tell DM this and she's as excited as can be. Dad wasn't in and, of course, she fell asleep and didn't tell him. So when I call to go over trip details, suddenly he puts the kibosh on everything because he wants to see what his casino host can do! The nice thing about the new Harrah's Empire is that we now have a choice of Harrah's, Rio, Paris etc. I wasn't too impressed with the Harrah's rooms and would prefer Paris (or the new section of Ceasar's ) although if they are going to be significantly cheaper than the Westin, then I'll take anything

So now I'm in a holding pattern because I can't get the air tix until he figures out which of the many offers for slot tourneys and poker contests they'll be able to use AND if he can extend his coverage to an extra room for us...

Give me a good ol' straight-forward, easy-to-planb DIsney cruise vacation to plan any day!

This is actually very controversial, since it is a composite salmon. It is a wierd combination of coho, humpy and red salmon, which really urks us Alaskans.

We know our salmon.

Apparently not, because the Captain's pirates are counted separately. This is how the wenches keep us down-- they split off the captain's, even though he is male, they split off the evil twins -- even though he is male.

And I suppose my two will now be listed as 'whiny ex-DISboard posters', huh, Lisa?

All these talks of booking other cruises this summer has me poking around to see what I can do for Spring Break. But then my practical side smakes me across the face to remind me that I have my Med cruise and DL Paris in August.

But I can't wait that long, so I'm going to jaunt down to DL before our APs expire in April.
