I HATE job hunting!

:wizard: :wizard:

But have you seen the flying salmon?
fish%20plane.jpeg

This is actually very controversial, since it is a composite salmon. It is a wierd combination of coho, humpy and red salmon, which really urks us Alaskans.

We know our salmon.

That is scary looking! :scared1:

I want to thank everyone who has shared there WDW stories and pics. I have enjoyed them very much.:goodvibes I don't have any early pics to share, but somebody had mentioned a funny Niagra Falls story from NJ. Here is a pic from the 70's of me & my sisters. I am the one in the beige cape.:rotfl2:

My father wanted to get the perfect picture with the falls in the background. Against my mothers wishes of course he put us girls over the fence and on this rock. Still makes me want to ask.............what were you thinking?:scared1: I imagine if somebody even tried doing that today what would happen. Can't believe he wasn't caught even back then. Hey nice view of the falls though huh?:rotfl:

Great pic!

I HATE job hunting!

You have my sympathies, friend. I've been needing to look for a new job for about six months and keep putting it off until the day they walk me out the door... I've always hated job hunting.

Is this the quake that occured during the World Series?

Hi, Yeah, the 1989 Loma Prieta 'Quake happened just before the start of the World Series game between the S.F. Giants & the Oakland A's. Some speculated that there was less casualities on the road & bridge collapes than could have been as so many were watching the game on TV rather than out on the road.

I've always been afraid of brussel sprouts!

My kids favorite vegetable is brussel sprouts. Here is a good way to try them. Shred or slice them very thin (where it looks like cabbage for cole slaw but thinner). Saute them in olive oil until they just get a little brown on the edges, then squeeze lime juice over the top of them. You won't even know they are brussel sprouts.

Uggh! Why am I even bothering to look at washers/dryers when I know what I want! It sure is purty.:rotfl2:

The worst part is our dryer still works fine... but they have to match, don't they?

That is what I told DH whenever we have had to buy a washer!

:offtopic: Sorry to interrupt the typical posting of blah blah blah, rugby, t-******, groundhogs, room assignements and when our website will be up...:rolleyes1 I just had to share this...

Sensing that I am a bit down today because of my Dad, my DH  and DD:angel: just gave me my birthday present...deciding what our plans will be for vacation this summer. We were originally going to sail Carnival...NOT. DH took it upon himself (I am the compulsive planner, not he) and booked us on RCCL Explorer of the Seas!

It sails 6/9 and sails from Cape Liberty, NJ. NO AIRPORTS!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I am not afraid to fly at all, I just hate the hassle!!! It will be great to wake up, hop in the car and in a couple of hours be on the ship! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Ports are Kings Wharf, St Thomas, St Maarten and San Juan.:cool1:

You may now return to our usual blah, blah, blah...:rotfl2:

That's a GREAT present ! Glad your day turned around for you.:wizard:

YUMM!! I'd like to say that I will have chinese take-out tonight, but I am taking grandma shopping, and it's lent...and it's friday...so it's probably going to be fish...
Maybe I could talk her into Red lobster...MMMmmmm! Crab legs!!! :thumbsup2

[HSV] mmmmmmm Red Lobbbbbbsterrrrrrr [/HSV]

But it's too far away from the garden show (date night, buy one get one free...yeah, I'm cheap--but I'm easy too so that makes up for it ;))

Instead I think we'll go for Cracker Barrel, Champps or Elephant Bar.

Just got home for lunch, Hazel had already left for her Ladies Retreat, and I found the neighbor's tree crashed through our fence and also landed on the house that sits behind us. Guess I'll be calling our homeowners insurance company. Angelina and I heard a loud noise this morning while she was getting ready for school, but it sounded like thunder to me. I'm the only one who uses the back door and I just happened to see our fence was crushed as I walked in for lunch. The house behind us got it bad, part of their roof is missing from where the tree hit it.

Glad you didn't have more damage Andy! It has been a tough week for you all.

that actually sounds good, might just have to try it

Who said I was sane.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: When I was young I always wished to be sorrounded by beautiful women. Now I am sorrounded by five of them. All the time ......

Yeah but the big question is how many bathrooms do you have ? Are you ever able to get in one of them?:lmao: :lmao:

Our weatherman just said that more people have been killed by tornados this year already than any other full year in a long time! :scared1:

The season hasn't even started yet either.

Color me a bright shade of "Officially Jealous". No way we could afford the TOAL and another cruise. I am sure y'all will have a good time.

Since everyone seemed to enjoy old Disney pictures yesterday, I thought I would drag out my first experience with Small World. No it was not in California or Florida but New York. Here are a couple of pictures from the 1964 Worlds Fair that produced Small World, Carousel of Progress and the Grand Canyon Dinosaur portion of the railroad.

Sad day for news in so many ways!

Great pictures! I did not become a Disney addict until 1986 so I have a short history. :confused3

Homework is for the parents too you know! Glad you could save it for her.:)

Only wished I could have found all of it for her. At least it worked out in the end. Glad she's not upset about having to re-do the last 4 slides.
