:offtopic: Sorry to interrupt the typical posting of blah blah blah, rugby, t-******, groundhogs, room assignements and when our website will be up...:rolleyes1 I just had to share this...

Sensing that I am a bit down today because of my Dad, my DH  and DD:angel: just gave me my birthday present...deciding what our plans will be for vacation this summer. We were originally going to sail Carnival...NOT. DH took it upon himself (I am the compulsive planner, not he) and booked us on RCCL Explorer of the Seas!

It sails 6/9 and sails from Cape Liberty, NJ. NO AIRPORTS!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I am not afraid to fly at all, I just hate the hassle!!! It will be great to wake up, hop in the car and in a couple of hours be on the ship! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Ports are Kings Wharf, St Thomas, St Maarten and San Juan.:cool1:

You may now return to our usual blah, blah, blah...:rotfl2:

Congrats Karen, that's sounds wonderful!!!

Hazel's birthday is tomorrow, and since she is away this weekend, we will celebrate her birthday after she gets home. She already got her present though, the weekend away from DD and me!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Too bad you are so far away, from reading your posts, it seems like you have a great system! I could use some help...:goodvibes

My problem is that I don't feel I "deserve" to start scrapbooking until the whole house is clean, the kids are clean, the laundry is done, etc. So by the time that is all done in our house of 7 (plus a Golden Retriever and a Pug) there is simply no time! I am going to give it a try today (if I can tear myself away from the DISboards).

Poohmom :hippie:

If you start when your whole house is clean, the kids are clean, the laundry is done etc.....it will just get dirty again while you are working...so what is the point? you will just have to do it all over again. Give yourself a break!:thumbsup2

Thanks Andy!

So glad that the tree didn't hurt anyone!

My DBros birthday is tomorrow. We are what's referred to as Irish twins.

4DDs + 1 wife... How do you keep your sanity???:rotfl:

Who said I was sane.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: When I was young I always wished to be sorrounded by beautiful women. Now I am sorrounded by five of them. All the time ......

It's snowing.

I ended up staying home today, even though they didn't close the office. There goes one personal day. :headache: I didn't stay home on purpose though. I decided to take the 2nd bus in to work, just in case someone got a bright idea that it really wasn't safe to open up, but without luck, there was no such thing. So, I bundled up and went to the bus stop. After about a half an hour, something wasn't right. :cold: I made a quick call and found out that the bus I take to work does not go through town. Only goes to the downtown area, stops at the Chamber of Commerce and turns around back in to Portland. ACK! So I called work, told them they would have to survive without me and went home. By time I got back home, and I'm not kidding or exaggerating, I had 2 inches of snow on my shoulders.

So, I'm going to :surfweb: and popcorn:: and :happytv: . After the necessary ketchupin of course.

We closed our DHQ today at noon because of a good Divisional Program Review. I knew that you would understand Jennifer. ;)

I agree.....in my scrapbook, my dd hasn't even celebrated her 1st birthday.....in real life, she's 7.

My younger one has noticed that her baby scrapbook is nowhere near as thick as her older sib's. I keep telling her that it's because he's older & that her book will have more pages by the time she's that age. I figure by the time she realizes that she'll never catch up to his age, she'll be old enough to scrap the rest of the pages herself.

That is all perfectly acceptable:) It is not as much FUN if you make yourself feel bad about it!

We dont prefer Carnival as well..........BUT....

For our Fall cruise we are going on Carnival out of San Juan.......due to two very important reasons.

Number 1 COST !!!!!!! Mickey gets all the other money !!!!

Number 2 Itinerary. This cruise has the ALL Important stops of the POTC Islands..........

So........there ya have the DisneyPilot Decision Process !!!!! :confused3

Great advice Julie...

I was so pleased that I finished 2005 a month or so ago and went to start on 2006 and found that I skipped 2004:scared1: .. oh well on to 2006 anyways...

I have done that also! One of my girlfriends just randomly picks a year that
she wants to work on!

ITA. They were so spoiled by it all that they decided to lose their advantage and give up someone on their team to keep it. :sad2:
I hope that decision comes back to bite them.;)

:scared1: to how the picture was taken...but it is a great shot. :goodvibes
Sometimes I look at that pic and say why don't you kids look scared? Hang on for dear life.

What do you mean - which one do you want?

Duuuuhhh, it's a cruise. The correct answer is: one of each!
Easy to say that when your looking at the pic. but trust me I was there and so stuffed I could only eat so much.:lmao: Now I wished I would have tried that one and that one.:rotfl:

ONE of each? Only one?
Do I see a cake eating contest on this cruise. Hmmmm I would watch.:3dglasses

I'm fairly certain that if I'm making a fool of myself, my teens will be taking pics with their cell phones.:guilty:

I was counting on that.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Wow...that's amazing!!! What great photos!!!:thumbsup2
I can not take the credit. Mark took them.
YAAAYYYY!!! That's awesome!! :thumbsup2
I'm envious...but I'd love to see pictures and hear about it when you get back! I'd love to see what those "other" ships look like! ;)

OK, folks! Time to go pick up Granny!! Have a great evening, and I'll be on tomorrow some probably!

Well, we have RCCL AOS and Mariner and Carnival Destiny pictures. Mark takes tons of pictures so what do you want to see. The bathrooms? the Casino? the food? the carpet. Just name it and we probably have a picture.

I love brussel sprouts but can only get them when we go out to eat because my DW does not like them at all. :confused3
Oh me too, I love them. Make them just for me and the birds.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Yeah Yeah ..and that wasnt the ocean rockin the boat either ..:lmao: :lmao:

pirate:

I hear you!!! My Dad just cruised the Valor in January and said it was one of his favorite cruises and he's cruised A LOT!!! I liked the ports on the Legend, but the ship seems to draw a non-Disney type crowd:rolleyes1 So, it was cruise that one in a Cat 12 suite (their top) or the Explorer in a balcony stateroom for the same $$$. Consider the savings in not having to fly and voila...Explorer of the Seas here we come!!! BTW, RCCL Adventurer sails from SJ as well...nice itinerary as well...:rolleyes1
