This is crazy! The sun is now shining brightly and the rain has stopped. The street drains are either blocked or just backed up from the amount of rain that fell.

When I left for the office this morning it was pouring down rain. :scared1: By 9:30AM the sun was blazing bright and now the humidity is 12%! It rarely got that low in Oklahoma!

Crazy weather :confused3

Loved your pictures Brack!

:offtopic: Sorry to interrupt the typical posting of blah blah blah, rugby, t-******, groundhogs, room assignements and when our website will be up...:rolleyes1 I just had to share this...

Sensing that I am a bit down today because of my Dad, my DH  and DD:angel: just gave me my birthday present...deciding what our plans will be for vacation this summer. We were originally going to sail Carnival...NOT. DH took it upon himself (I am the compulsive planner, not he) and booked us on RCCL Explorer of the Seas!

It sails 6/9 and sails from Cape Liberty, NJ. NO AIRPORTS!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I am not afraid to fly at all, I just hate the hassle!!! It will be great to wake up, hop in the car and in a couple of hours be on the ship! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Ports are Kings Wharf, St Thomas, St Maarten and San Juan.:cool1:

You may now return to our usual blah, blah, blah...:rotfl2:

YAAAYYYY!!! That's awesome!! :thumbsup2
I'm envious...but I'd love to see pictures and hear about it when you get back! I'd love to see what those "other" ships look like! ;)

OK, folks! Time to go pick up Granny!! Have a great evening, and I'll be on tomorrow some probably!

Awww...thanks. I've been feeling under the weather this week, so I've been slower to post. It's all I can do to stay ketched up. :)

Enna, hope you are finally feeling better.:)

The 1989 Loma Prieta quake in No. CA was 6.9 - my family was in the S.F. area while I was at our family ranch very near the epicenter. Having lived in No. Ca for most of my life - this one was the worst I ever experienced. The part of the freeway that collapsed in the East Bay was the one I had traveled on to work - it made me ill to took at the pictures!!

Chris

Is this the quake that occured during the World Series?

..... The real secret is the joy of granchildren.:dance3:

My DW is greatly dismayed by the fact that while our DS has been married for over 12 years and they have no grandchildren.

I warn everyone with children that my DW loves kids and wants to adopt them all as grandchildren.

I haven't tried the power sort layouts box yet because I don't see a point in it for me. I tend to print pictures based on what I know I'll use on each page, and already have the page layout mentally mapped out before I have the pictures in hand (sometimes before I even take the pictures). If I go through the process of putting all of that stuff in a box, I might as well just get out the adhesive & put it in an album, KWIM? Am I missing some magical powers of the sort box?

Oh, I do have 2 of the power sort minis to hold pictures. I like that they are water resistant and that the lid is held on with elastic. They seem nicer than the generic craft store photo boxes.

If you only scrap at home-I wouldn't see the need for it either.

Wow! It looks like everyone is having "a lot of weather" today.

high: 10 low: -5 (not including windchill)
Wind gusts 40-60 mph

I don't think I'm going to spend much time on my hair this morning.

You are going to love DC! :thumbsup2

Just a quick note before I head off to "Feed the Darlins". Hope everyone's had a great week and has an even better weekend. My Pink Tink :moped: is now on consignment at the scooter shop...$2200.00 if anyone's interested ;) This will be our 1st weekend as "business owners", wish us luck pixiedust:

Good Luck to you both. I hope it does better than you are expecting!pixiedust:

YUMM!! I'd like to say that I will have chinese take-out tonight, but I am taking grandma shopping, and it's lent...and it's friday...so it's probably going to be fish...
Maybe I could talk her into Red lobster...MMMmmmm! Crab legs!!! :thumbsup2

Linguini with clam sauce for us tonight.
