It's 11pm and this Cinderella turns into a pumpkin then. So on that note, I'm gonna call it a night.

See ya on the flip side!

Oh - MR? I bought 2 floor tickets to The Police at Citizens Bank Stadium in Philly today - think I see an ebay listing in my future.

I thought they went on sale this Saturday?:confused3

I have to step out for a minute, I need to get to the bank before it closes for the day. Be back later.

Now that has been cleared up, I am compelled to ask:

sub, grinder, hoagie or hero ??
:)

I was waiting for that!!:lmao:

Hoagies are cold, usually luchmeat, with LTO; subs are hot, usually with sauce.

We do hear grinder at the restaurant - a hoagie that is heated. Eck! Hot lettuce!:scared1:

Bunnies, huh? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: You asked for it!

...

One day, I came home from work, and apparently, someone had left Esther's cage open. Somewhere along the line, she and Wrangler met up.

Wrangler was sitting on our front porch, waiting to show me what he had "found". He had that "look, Mommy, I found you a cute little bunny" look on his face. He was so proud.

...

Not ten minutes later, Wrangler was back on the porch with Esther.
Once again, I chucked her down the canyon. We went through this new game of "fetch the bunny" about four times before Wrangler really got his feelings hurt that I was refusing the offer of his generous gift. The last time, he decided he'd bury her himself. He was digging a grand hole in my rose bushes.
Finally, Esther went into a box, in the garage, to await a proper burial when DH got home.

Aren't you sorry you wanted bunny stories?

Good Boy!!

I did mention I have competative hunting dogs somewhere along the line? We can't keep small furry things for the same reason. And the cat's reason for existence is to teach the dogs to leave them alone. He (the cat) does a nice job of it - they're all terrified by him. We have a giant dog bed (5 ft x 3 ft) that will hold three large dogs, or one cat.

:thumbsup2 ..like i said before J.-man, you're true to life!

ooohhhh, ms. Lb. gr-girl?... enquiring minds are wondering iF
your lent promise still intact? [ my guess, seeing the principle
was a real test] :headache:

i'm so sorry, wheelerkidz3, :grouphug: , prayers, that he has no more
setbacks toward a full recovery! [ i don't know why..maybe from your
needing a nap and fussy kiddo- [been there], & the ways you described
your grandfather....made me "think" that pic. from j-man, with the kid
pouring water from he roof...could be your grandpa? hope the 2 give
a lil'comfort from your worries. :)

jeez...naptime is lasting a whole 20 mins again today! this is absolutely crazy!!! i have a daycare baby who does NOT know how to nap..he's only 3 months old, and i'm lucky to get him to sleep a total of 60 mins a day...that is way too little for such a small guy! i look forward to naptime as MY time...and i'm just not getting it with him here. i'm tired as it is, and i'm really feeling kinda grumpy today! he's in the other room starting to fuss right now...and i really just wish he'd go back to sleep!! ugh!

 I feel for you. I used to work in child care for a room full of 2 yr olds...and that naptime was THE ONLY time of the day that I had to THINK!!!

You want to know what solved that problem for us? We moved to the front row. They have always been on their best behavior since.

Last year ds started serving at Mass, so a lot of the time it's just dd in the pew with us.

That is what I did last year when it was just me & the kids. DS left for CCD after the homily...made it easier for me. DH doesn't like to sit up front...though I have made my case for why I want to. Now with the RCIA candidates sitting in the first two rows, we can't do this anyway. :sad2:

Let me know what you think. I thought it was too much like Zero and not enough like Cherry. The sugar substitute overpowered the cherry substitute.

I actually like it...not too strong of a cherry taste. More along the lines of the cherry 7 up. I like zero though so that probably helps.

Good luck today - give'em h e double hockeysticks!

It was interesting...not very stressful thank goodness. I think that we are making progress. There are 5 teachers & 4 parents on the committee. They were very greatful that we are willing to do this.

Oh and that marvelous picture of Andy was spawned when Long Johns were mentioned.

Long johns can be:

A name for long underwear.
Another name for éclairs in some parts of the United States.
A bar-shaped doughnut, which may or may not be filled.
A traditional two-wheeled Danish freight bicycle for carrying heavy loads.
The Long Johns are the British satirists John Bird and John Fortune.

Sorry! It's a sickness. I'll stop now. I'm on a diet so I don't have any self medication going on with alcohol, chocolate, etc. It's making me crazed & an insomniac to boot! :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Well, I went to my meeting, made some calls and with very poor judgement got on the board "real quick" just to see if anyone had replied since I last was on about 4 hours ago.
I can't believe how many pages there are. I now agree with everyone who has warned me that I will never make it through all the posts. I don't think that I will be able to keep up with new ones!

First of all, thanks so much for being so welcoming, I am so cheezy that I got tears in my all from all the nice comments! :grouphug: :flower3:
Especially since my bra mishap was so fitting this morning! (And by the way, DisneyVegas1, who I think is Captain Jack, maybe named Todd? I wasn't TOPLESS! ;)

Anyway, how does anyone plan on getting ANY work done for the next 560+ days? :goodvibes

Back to work I go, I need to keep focused so we can pay for the trip!:upsidedow

Poohmom :hippie:

PS, I will try to work on getting the logo in my signature, once I figure out how to make a signature!

I thought they went on sale this Saturday?:confused3

Just checked, for our area they went on sale 2/25. My boss is very disappointed since Sting is her husband an all.....:rotfl: ......she thought they went on sale this Sat too.....wonder why everyone thought that? I didn't really pay attention until today.

And if you order ginger ale you GOTTA make sure they really carry ginger ale! I'm indifferent to the brand--Canada Dry, Schwepps etc--so long as it's real ginger ale! Can't tell you the number of times I've forgotten to ask (usually if the place has a bar) if they carry ginger ale only to discover they mix cola & Sprite to "make" ginger ale! :p :sad2:

Now how would they think cola and Sprite make Ginger Ale?:confused3

70' VW beetle yellow (in 72'), drove it for 3-4 months. Took it on a first date with this very nice girl to the Music Center in LA. While driving on the freeway through what is now south central LA it caught on fire and burned to the ground. :scared1: Try explaining to a waiting dad about this as you are returning from your first date in the back of a CHP unit. :confused3 Hot date huh.. Second car 71' Super beetle blue which I drove for some 10-11 years. Took to Montana for 5 years and Wisconsin for 3 more years. Went everywhere possible in between. I think that I had some 170,000miles on it when I blow a cylinder coming over a pass in Colorado but still able to drive back to LA. That was an incredible car.

My Bug also caught on fire. But I think it had to do with my then BF putting in too much oil when he changed it.:rolleyes1

I'm also hoping to run into the Dream Team and get one of the Magical Fast Passes. :thumbsup2

Those are AWSOME!!!!! :goodvibes The kids didn't want to go on HM but because they have before we got them on it. ;) At the end DS was saying he was mad and scared to death. The CM at the end of the ride said "then you will be glad that you were scared to death because you are winners." My mind said ~ why are you breaking character like that? What is wrong with you? DH started jumping up & down yelling YEAH We are winners!!! We walked thru the doors at the exit to find a CM there with a fistful of the FPs handing them to everyone coming out. We were the first family to get them.

, & the ways you described
your grandfather....made me "think" that pic. from j-man, with the kid

thanks so much for that!! that made me chuckle!!

 I feel for you. I used to work in child care for a room full of 2 yr olds...and that naptime was THE ONLY time of the day that I had to THINK!!!

i sometimes wish i could say "i USED to work in childcare"!! ugh...this is one week i just want to end!! DH just got home, and he's taken the screamer away from me...yippee! and told me to go relax...so here i sit on the dis! i'm soooo ready for this vacation...well, not really, cuz i've not researched enough! guess i'm ready for any vacation right now!

That is so true!!!! It is amzing how many relatives come out of hiding and circle like vulgers.:sad1:

That is the root of most of the problems in DH's family. There is a lot of money involved & it brings out the worst in people. His Aunt had the last laugh though. She changed her will so that the friends who helped her when she was suffering with cancer received everything, not family. There were a few things put aside for DD. There has always been one girl per generation in that family up until DD...no matter how many kids were born. Everyone else said that she would be a boy because they didn't make girls. I loved calling FIL to tell him that we had a girl & I had broken the family curse. You don't tell ME what I can or can't do. :thumbsup2 :lmao: Since then we have had another neice join the family so that one is gone for good. ;)

hi all! gonna try to pop in here today during naptime...i could really use a nap myself! so i'm hoping the boards here will help me stay awake!
it was a very long nite last nite...my gpa had a ruptured anyeurism (spelling?) on sat morning. they did surgery, and it looked to be like he was doing ok. they expected the surgery to last for 6 hrs, it only lasted 4! they thought he'd be on a resp for weeks...he was off it in 2 days! well, yesterday he had some major setbacks. his lungs and heart were doing very well...very strong! but yesterday afternoon, his heart stopped...but he's tough and stubborn and the docs got him going again! last nite was another story...his heart kept giving out numerous times, and they've had to put him back on the vent. he's not looking good, and we were at the hosp from midnite til after 3 this am. at least he's stable today...and he's a stubborn and strong old man!! which is good for his fighting chances! please keep him in your prayers!

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to you & prayers going out for your GP.
