Enough of a break for me. Back to ironing so that I can put this darn board away today! Dinner is in the crock pot, the sink is cleaned, laundry is close to being caught up & I put away DD's dollhouse & railroad mess. Somehow she thinks that pushing it all against the wall classifies as picking it up. :sad2:

Okay I have to go now too......
Blake just got her speech evaluation report back and she failed. I had thought it was developmental .....I guess the first step is a hearing test. We got that covered, so I am off to Dale's office to do that......

Oh yeah and good news.....I found someone who is going to fix my laptop so that the keys all work (no more missing "t") He said it would take about a week so I am very excited.....So going there to drop it off....

Good luck!

congratulations to everyone with new tags!!!!: Julia, Mary, Enna, dahuffy, Karen - hope I have that right and no one left off....

:wizard: and :grouphug: to everyone in need!!!!

1. shoes - not that many: a few pairs of Merrells sandals, a pair of sneakers, 2 to 3 pairs dress shoes, 3 pairs casual, a pair of LL Bean boots for shoveling snow and walking the dog...soon to have a pair of Crocs

2. purses - 1 only - still searching for the perfect one...not into Coach or labels , just want something functional....(have 2 dressy ones - but rarely use them)

3. exercise - none now, have to get back to it - when I do it is 5 days/wk..walk the dog for at least an hour and use exercise bike 45 mins

4. Breakfast - blueberry buttermilk pancakes

5. snack - peanut M&Ms with popcorn

6.Hobbies - this is it!!!! should be doing scrapbooking.....

7. Cold Bev - ice cold root beer in a frozen mug!!!

DD has been home all week, so I am barely caught up........

I saw a guy in Hooters last night with a black mark on his forehead. I kept looking at him thinking what that could be when I realized what day it was. (I'm not Catholic, but a Christian I am aware of the holy days, or should be).

I guess it was the juxtaposition of going to church, getting your ashes, and then coming to Hooters that threw me off balance.
:lmao: Good morning everyone. I am trying to catch up, so forgive me replying to "old" news.

Just dropping by to say HI, time to ketchup!!!

Ohhhhhhh.......

Somewhere this morning the poster from last night is desperately looking to see if they somehow got assigned the Roy...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Either that or they were scared off from this group entirely. I sure hope not!

:rolleyes1 ..no idea what going on or the appropirate subject..matters
or otherwise..but i am sure am :wizard: wishing, lisa girl did not have any
more dcl nightmares....[iam still recovering from yesterday...:faint: ]

* did i ever mentioned i am sorta influenced by the power of suggestion?
one ex.: when our middle child...was appox. 2, and out in the yard one
spring..he came across a robin egg...did he leave it along?, are you kidding?
:sad2: ..of course, he yell , "daddy ! look!..before i could say a thing...
plop! it went in his mouth..we called poison control, & never got sick or
anything....but poor old dad..was throwing up on the spot...& couldn't
eat for a week...i still get squeasy, just thinking about it..:crazy2:

palo brunch, is it any good?

* here's an idea..since we're forming a large group, we could all hold
hands..around deck 10? and sing :rolleyes1 the old coke song.."i like to
buy?"...maybe the wenches could make their favorite mud pies?

:offtopic: but if our lisa g. develops any type of amnesia....we're screwed!

:lmao: ...i know how you feel!, {v. man}

hey ..me & you are in the same age group:thumbsup2

* let's teach those "wet behind the ears" pirate: s a thing
about indulgence while making our wenches the envy of the
sea? [..........pssssst, if you mix you jar of dirt with baby
oil, your mud will be soft as a newborn's booty :hippie: pirate:

Hazel made egg salad for lunch  time to eat!!!! :thumbsup2

I wish I hadn't read lil' grumpy's post before Hazel brought me my sandwich, I don't know if I can keep it down now??? :confused3 ;) :lmao:

I'm not quite 5'2"! I guess I'm in good company! :thumbsup2

I'm 5'5", but DH is 6'4". I got the short gene in our family. Mom is 5'8", Dad 6'1", both brothers 6'2". Even DD5 is tall. I expect she'll be taller than me by Jr High.

However, for the two years I lived in KY for college, I was tall. Go figure.

i still get squeasy, just thinking about it..

Well, I got the sandwich down "grumpy" I just hope it stays down. :scared: ;) :lmao:

I have no idea . . . I've never even seen one (that I can remember). I did think that between the name and the fact that a big draw is buxom women serving you in tight shirts, that it might not be what I would consider a family-friendly dinner stop -- but honestly I don't know.

It's not our list to places to eat, which is why I've never been....we have tons of choices around here.....so I doubt I ever will. BUT, that being said....my neighbors, who go there specifically for the wings, because they are so good, tell me that the waitresses aren't even very well endowed! I guess the chain is also trying to sell themselves as more family friendly. I'm not a Hooters advocate or anything.....I'm just saying this is what I've been told...:confused3

:yay: to all those with new tags....some are just toooooo
cute.........:wizard:

* akarateg...:eek: ...i can't see how a sweet lil'wench would
get a rough & tumble tag..we need to switch, :flower3: :flower3:

* ohh, i don't want to hear it, from the lowly swabbies [that are
actual scabbies...:crazy2: ], you be trying some pirate:ing tooo
if you were cursed...with a pink "hankie"...it's like some kind of
mark..of the seawitch...:rolleyes1 .next thing you know, i be
seeing a voodoo dollie in my image & someone making "it" walkin
the plank...pssst the thing i don't like about water...its all wet!

yeah!, mr.V.,....they told us to watch him, but my wife ask
about me...:confused3 , they responded..well he is out doors-
all green and  !

[kinda makes you wondered how i work ob, which i surely did!..but
remember..i am good at compensating ..so i was always keeping one
eye closed!]

enjoy your lunch!....don't forget...baby oil :thumbsup2 ,see i
got you "covered". :hippie: pirate:
