I 'm the best BiP? I thought I was the only one!

Oh Andrew! I had no idea you were going thru so much! Ofcourse we understand not wanting to share every detail, but just know that we care and we're all going to be thinking about your family and praying for them.

Yes the queen at posting the '000's
Yes but we all have to cope with lifes twists and turns, thats the cards we have been delt, others have far worse ones top cope with.

Your welcome guys......It was a really nice day.....Water was pretty nice for that part of Mexico and it was secluded. Picture a mexican version of Castaway Cay without 1200 people. (and no chocolate cookie dough icecream)

(and no N.R. players either)

Okay the Puerta Vallarta post I had been promising.......
Top photo is where Darth, Enna and others will be struck down by lightning....It is downtown.

Binder note: Pack collapsible lightning rod.

Judy - are you feeling OK. 2 useful posts in 2 days.
Sheesh - now I'm feeling pressure to say something useful. I don't think I've actually contributed any cruise knowledge to this thread!!

Hmmmm...I'll have to think about this.

Carry on.

If I remember correctly there were actually 3 coves of beach
and multiple little casitas where you dine......buffet style
there are trails to hike on too

Stark difference between Cabo where it is dry and desert like to PV where it is jungle like......

I know but I have now shared ALL my knowledge in total about our cruise itinerary.......

Yes I believe it is. And from what I understand, she's supposed to be on the show here in the states this season. I'll have to check the website and see who else will be on. There's usually an athlete,a t.v. personality,a soap opera person,a musician etc.

Joey Fatone is going to be on it....He should be really good....

I do not know if you have posted this but Cabo is famous for the sealife, seaviews etc, many of the top Television shows in the past have been filmed in the seas off Cabo, dont know if I can spell it correctly but Jaques Costuo?, the famous french TV filmer went there a lot.

Think sealife shore trips in Cabo! It is barron and desert like a number off top quality hotels on the ocast, the town is nice, and i visited a glass blowing factory last time I was there, with Princess cruises.

Hurry.....call Mr.O....Stace doesn't have ears, a nose, or a throat!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Every time anyone talks about Mr. or Dr. "O" I can't help but think of a certain contest I once won in Las Vegas. Oops....forgot...family Board and....What Happens In Vegas, Stays In Vegas........:rolleyes1

I cannot post here much about this, some might put two and two together, but If she felt people on the cruise knew too much she might not go in the future,

Just to say its a recurring illness and is hard for all, her but particularly the Kids to cope with and it cannot be solved in weeks or months.

Against what others have posted they have been though, is one of lifes hurdels to get over, and bounce back from. Having Andys tenacity would help.

   :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: To you and the family, Andrew!!

Oh this just keeps getting better! I mean worse! I mean better!

The phase 'master of your domain' is now running through my head.

Make it stop! I'm trying to think of a useful post!

OK Bed time here 10.30pm, I wont leave it too long this time before returning, if I missed any post again thanks for the good wishes on DD and DW.

Night!

Judy, thank you for posting those beautiful pictures. Looks like something I would love to do. NOW!!!!!

My DH says he doesn't 'get' the DIS thing. He never paid attention to the other cruise meet threads I've been on, but I've caught him reading over my shoulder quite a few times on this one.

Maybe he's lurking right now - :sail: Hi Honey!

Mr. Enna does the same sort of thing. :)

DH was the same way for our first cruise. Once we got to the terminal he was asking me who we were suppose to meet. LOL! He enjoyed knowing our tablemates & the fact that the kids had others their age to talk to. He started asking more questions earlier with the second cruise. Once he met John & his family, he started reading the boards himself but he doesn't have an ID.

Remainder of the photos are from the excursion that Stacey and I took.More on that in a minute.....

We dock the ship at PV. I don't remember the sharks selling time share like jonesing mentioned but we went on an excursion all day and then came back refreshed, and went downtown for dinner and drinks. The taxis that are on th inner circle are extremely high priced. If you walk to the gates of th port you can get one for nothing.....Downtown is a very short ride and taxis are abundant. Downtown is really beautiful. They have done the waterfront side of the street with beautiful statues and nice walkways. It seems reallly clean although that is just the main street....a few rows back it is a stark difference.

Our excursion was the "Las Caletas Hideaway". It was once the luxury retreat of John Huston. It is only accesssible by boat so no vendors here. It included a 60 minute boat ride, 4 1/2 hours to enjoy the beach or for an addl cost rent kayaks, scubadive, massages, snorkel, ...They have the greatest fresh squeezed lime ade that I can't help but think about as I write this YUM!!!! Then they serve you this wonderful mexican meal with fresh made tortillas and paella. And of course that includes your return trip to the ship.....
The only sad part was they had this poor sealion in captivity. Stacey can probably tell you more on the scuba as that is how she met us---she struck up a conversation with my DH "Dr. O" about equalizing.

Looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing Judy.

We love that show...

Okay since everyone is gone now and I have taken to talking to myself and the kettle person.......

Squirrels were mentioned earlier....
Remember the hurricane triple punch to Florida....well my mom called me to come over as she had this "varmit"(TX lingo) laying in her front yard. I went over and there were these 2 baby somethings with umbilical cords still attached. I picked them up and brought them home and later discovered they were squirrels. I used to get up all through the night every 3 hours and hand feed them. I tried to get them to a wildlife rehabilitationist but since every squirrel, raccoon, possom, snake, deer, gator ....had been affested they had no room. Word got out amongst the golf course maintenance crew and they kept bringing me more.............I ended up with 22 squirrels.
Here are some pictures of their journey

This was during the last Hurricane and we had no power and we had to keep them in our bathroom.
