I did try to catch up on and off all day but I'm sure I missed lots of posts.

Thanks for sharing many heartfelt stories. I went through quite a few tissues before I stopped. DD(3) wanted to know why I was crying. Tried explaining but gave up. How do you explain such heartache and joy to a baby.

Anyway, I posted a pic in my sig that I forgot I had and thought it was soooo fitting for this group.

Yes it has been colder than in a number of years. It is supposed to warm up from tomorrow on and be beautiful this weekend.....tourists will be happy....

No, I went to St. Francis Prep. in Fresh Meadows, Queens. It was and is the largest parochial HS in the country. It is still a great school, just alot more expensive.

How big was your graduating class?

While we are not happy with their current school, our Church school is not necessarily better. The test scores are not that great and DS wouldn't have the AG opportunity at all. We are hoping that changing them next year will help both of them.

Have you seriously considered homeschooling? It's no suprise that our area is one of the largest homeschooling areas in the country. Lots to do, lots of support, and you'll be able to make sure your kids get the education they deserve . . .

I didn't see the west coast yet Mary. Only East Coast & Canada. We're fan club members so I'll let you know when I hear. I do know there are Seattle and Vegas dates. Maybe you can swing by Capt's and see The Police too. He has a really nice, freshly painted room

How big was your graduating class?

We had about 750 students in my graduating class. The class started out a little larger, but dropped off as the years went by.

No, but we can take shifts raiding the buffet & keep it warm in the crockpot. (We'll tell the nonDISers it's bear to scare them off).

Of course we'll have to clear this with Enna - after all, she has the power.

OK so we have the extension cord covered but who is going to bring the power strip?

I can only imagine what it costs nowadays. Unfortunately, I agree, you don't have a choice. At least you kids will get a great education.

When we did our renewal with Elvis, he did all of our vows with words from Elvis songs..
