You know yesterday I forgot to post what my favorite momento was from the Magic.....I have 2 and they were both from the last trip (this is other than the shutters photos)
1. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new returner gift. Every time we go to collect fossils we take our nice mesh bag....
2. One of the cruisers on our cruise was Bronwen (thistle). She also lives here in Florida and Barb had called me to let me know of the last minute Florida resident rates and she had gotten our cruise cut by a SUBSTANTIAL amount ----lets just say thousands-----I mentioned in to Thistle and she was able to call and get a refund too. I did not think anything more about it but she delivered to our stateroom a Castaway Cay christmas ornament signed by the Capt. I absolutely loved that. It was SO thoughtful....

Uh huh......sure........what did they kick you off of the West thread ........

Nah, there wont be another pirate over there for another week at least. ;)

LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
John1, Amy, Kim, Steve, Angie, Dennis, PJ, Vanessa, John2!!!!!!

Okay, can you stand ONE more pic!

This is what we will all look like at our Secret Deck 7 Sing-a-long Smoothie Party. This is me and my sisters........gee can you tell we're related:

At least you are singing in harmony! :lmao:

Yes, that is confirmed at the 90 day mark with DCL...more than likely before that point. When you coordinate a large group for dining you have to assign which station each group will sit at. You don't know where they will be placed in the room BUT you group people by 18...an 8, 6, & 4 top per station...which can be pushed together once you board & meet your servers depending on where the tables are in relation to the room & walls & such. I grouped everyone by kid's ages last time, after taking care of the large family groups traveling with the DISers. We had table toppers as well to put on our tables with the group logo on it.

HOWEVER!!!!!! ALL I can do is email that list to the DCL coordinator who will note on the assignment DO NOT MOVE on our tables when she faxes it to the ship at 2 weeks. Not everyone was where they should have been on our last cruise the first night BUT some of this was due to people changing their rotation to have formal night in Lumiere's after they boarded or just switching out for whatever reason. This resulted in the stations no longer all being next to a DIS station when the entire station moved to a different rotation.

All I am going to ask this time is IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE TIME THAT WE WILL BE GETTING FOR LINKED DINING OR IF YOU REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SIT WITH THE GROUP.....do not send in your information when I request it. There were over 250 people last time between the two seatings and that included family groups traveling with DISers NOT in our group count. I expect that I could have up to 600 people to coordinate for dining this time. I hope that this doesn't come across too harshly but I would prefer not to waste time trying to accommodate everyone for dining if they do not intend to stick to it. This is not directed against anyone here...just what I have learned from experience with this.

Ah, I see.
Well I, for one, promise I won't be changing dining time and I'll take whatever rotation we get for the linked dining time. I do hope it's not the latest time though... I think you said 8pm like we got last time on our cruise linked dining?
In any case, yeah... with such large groups it has to be a pain to change things or people messing it up by changing things. I know it's been said already a few times but just want to once again thank you for everything you're doing on coordinating things for this cruise! What would we do without ya? :)

Sorry to all the fans of them but or me its

" SAY NO TO CROCS"

imho they are hideous, and since they are made of plastic they must make what a wonderful aroma........

Not exactly plastic- atleast it doesn't feel that way. more like rubbery foam IMO.

No - it's HOT!!!!!
Exactly!

Ask Mary Ann :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: My lips are sealed..........

Seriously my area is immediately next to WDW. I see the fireworks in my back yard. 11 minutes to MK gate. Is that close enough?????? The street right behind my house leads right to the Grand Cypress...

Hey wait ----after this group I may have eternal house guests........

Ummmmmmm.........yeah I am about 80 miles....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Then we will HAVE to meet up with you too! :thumbsup2 Are there many more in the area? We could have a minimeet. :cool1:

WOW!

Seeing who? your parents. :cool1: :cool1: uh oh look who will be sleeping on the couch now!!

Norway = Maelstrom! Love that ride.

Epcot at Christmas is a must - we took DS there when he 6 and it was so much fun going to all the different Santa's around the World. Actually WDW at Christmas time is not to be missed, it's my favorite time of year to go. This last time we had 5 days there and each one of them was filled to the brim - Osborne lights at MGM was fantastic, MVMCP at MK was exceptional (DS loves to tell how we get to ride BTMRR 7 times in a row without getting off!).

I agree about the Santas/storytellers - they aren't really all Santas...it is well worth the time. Italy is awesome...I had never even heard of La Befana!!!

One thing we enjoyed is - (Miyayuki, I think that is her name...I should look it up) - the woman who makes the animal art/candy out of sugar...she is awesome and the kids love her!!!! in Japan, I think. I t is just amazing to watch what she can do in so little time. She lets the kids pick an animal and a color - and they get to keep them.

Of course - that's different!

I guess I mean like they are out doing everyday things and they just didn't bother to get dressed and thought it was okay to go out and do them in their pj's. We actually had someone come in to the office that way a few weeks ago - needless to say they were pulled to the side and it was explained to them, very nicely, that pj's are not appropriate wear for the office and do not conform to the dress code.

You're kidding:eek: That's when "What Not To Wear" would be secretly filming!!

There mustve been some spoting event on CBS that ran late because I checked my TIVO for the Race and I got a half hour of 60 mins and half hour of the Race?

Did anyone tape it? Can i get a copy?

Can someone on the west coast tape it for me? It comes on in 5 mins there (Direct TV wont give me the west coast CBS channel - they say its against the law!!).

I can't imagine the flip-flops and the dresses - it totally ruins it for me. But then again, I can't stand to see people out in public (ie shopping, movies, dinner) in their PJ's.

You know I'm just a little sick of the insults around here. I wore flip flops to my wedding, I have a handlebar moustache, & now the fact that I wear PJ's 24/7??? Is there nothing I can do to please you people????

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Sorry I couldn't resist!!! ;)

They must all be here in my house!

Ditto!

Well, since you have all been posting pictures of yourselves, I was feeling a bit left out. So I thought I better post one of Mark and I.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, I thought Crocs were like Birkies. Are Crocs comfortable? Do your feet sweet in the rubber? I hear alot about them.

I do have a shoe thing because unfortunately, my feet are my best feature, so I go for cool stylish shoes and sandals. I'm trying to draw attention down, down to my beautiful feet :rotfl: :rotfl:

That's pathetic.....
They "say" your feet don't sweat in them and supposedly that's what the holes are for- to breathe. But I have to say that if you normally have feet proned to sweating- I do think you can sweat in these. Now that's not to say your feet won't "dry out" a lot quicker than they would in other shoes or socks/shoes combinations, because they will obviously with the holes and such. But the fact remains, your feet CAN sweat in these.

The only time my feet were sweaty in the normal crocs (not flipflops) is when we wore them to the ruins in Costa Maya and it was such a long tour and it was SO HOT and humid that day and there was no wind or anything. I only noticed it once though and pulled them off for a second sitting there and they (my feet and the shoes) were dry within seconds. My feet don't normally sweat, so I imagine feet that are prone to sweating WOULD sweat in these at times, given the right conditions.

Are they comfortable? Heck ya they are!
