No holiday. DS goes to a private school and their teachers have some kind of conference/convention going on. The 5th is just thrown in for a long weekend. Going to one of the indoor waterparks in Wisconsin Dells. :thumbsup2

ooooh very nice.....which one?

On our 2004 Lost At Sea Cruise there where alot of posters and DHs named Bob. After a while, all the men were just called Bob....whether they like it or not......made thing really easy, only had to remember the women's names :lmao: :lmao:

Sounds good to me!!:thumbsup2

Or we could give them a choice... Manny, Moe of Jack!?!?!?:lmao:

Not sure if Andy's will be on his keyboard. After some of his posts, I don't know where his will be.

Note to self, don't shake Andy's hand. :rotfl2:

My kids are on school vacation all next week. It's simply called February vacation & always has been as far as I know. Kids go back after Labor Day (usually), 1 week off at Christmas, 1 week in February, 1 week in April, and they get out around the end of June. 180 days total.

Good to see you're back, Lisa! It's all been covered I'm sure, but we were a little worried...and a little "rowdy" without our resident MOD...

Guess that I should share my few minutes of TV fame as a kid on one of those kid shows. You are going to crack up at who the hosts were. :lmao: A couple had a local kid's show with puppets and a mail box...the standard set up. I went on it and sat on the bleachers. I was 4 or 5 and the guy asked me if I would rather have a dog or a cat for a pet. All I did was pick a scab on my knee. OY! The name of the show?

The Jim & Tammy Show

Yes THAT Jim & Tammy before they got religious. :lmao:

We also go 180 days, back after labor day, one week in Dec., one week in March/April (depending on when Easter falls) and out the end of June. But they give them some extended weekends here - Thanksgiving they get off on Wednesday, sometimes and extra day or two around Memorial day and then several other scattered throughout the year. When I went to school we also got the week in February off.

Caroline---its really good to see you. Hope you catch up this weekend.....

BTW---did you enjoy St. Patricks Day...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just figured that is when she would read this...:rotfl2:

Thoughts,

My Med cruise thread has been going a year longer than this one and has 855 posts, thats about the number of posts this thread moves in a sngle day!.

I should be getting some Pre cruise stuff in the next few weeks for the Med cruise, the people on earlier cruises had received it and started to book shore trips.

Posting in this thread for 2008, when 2007 Cruise is getting closer, and 2008 is cheaper on cruise cost than the Med.

Outta here for a while - we're taking Joe out to dinner for his birthday tonight (yes I know it was yesterday but had that snow on Wed, remember). Anyway, he picked sushi (DH and I don't eat it) so we're going to a Japanese restaurant in New Paltz that has many choices.

See ya later!

"I see Desiree, and Lisa and Judy and yargrnhoj.....Oh... .... shame on you! " :lmao: :lmao:

That isn't MY romper room lady????? Someone once told me that they thought it was a locally produced show with similar guidelines. That might explain it.

Our April vacation usually doesn't fall on Easter week. It always starts on Patriot's Day. For those that don't know:

Patriots' Day (sometimes spelled Patriot's Day or Patriots Day) is a civic holiday in the U.S. states of Massachusetts and Maine (once part of Massachusetts), and a public school observance day in Wisconsin. Traditionally it was observed on April 19, in honor of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolutionary War, fought on that date in 1775. Since 1969, however, the holiday has been observed on the third Monday in April, providing a three-day long weekend.

Once I was playing with friends and the question was - Who kidnapped Patty Hearst? I said the SLA Simbinese Liberaltion Army(sp?) And my friends husband says wrong. I made him look at the answer on the card and he was shocked I was right. After that he always looked at the answer on the cards!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Guess it made you question all of the other ones that he said were wrong with out looking. :lmao:

So what you're saying is that you feel a little dirty and wrong for being here...instead of there???? :sad2:
