About 30 pages back, there was talk about kid's shoes. With us, I have so much trouble just getting DS7 to wear shoes most of the time, that I started letting him pick them out when we was about 4. That at least gave me a chance he might keep them on.

Then, about 1.5 years ago I discovered Crocs and started wearing them - after about 15 years of athletic shoes with orthotic inserts it was so fun to have something different and colorful! DS thought they were totally cool and DH promised him a pair as a reward for something or other. That was our downfall. He currently has 4 pairs of Crocs, 2 pair of tennis shoes and a pair of winter boots. He doesn't wear any other shoes. He would wear the Crocs every single day if the weather would cooperate! (I don't let him if it is raining, too cold or snowy) I didn't even bother to get him a pair of sandals last summer - what would be the point, he would just wear the crocs anyway

I really need to try a pair of these. I've looked at them and didn't try any on. But I do hear so many swear by them.

i can help anyone get another on-board . i have a bed free...
Oh now you tell me. So I can do one room and stick one of the kids with you? I'd give you the oldest if you like. Deal?

Or maybe I could just sleep in your extra bed and leave DH with the kids in the other room.
Hmmm....

I HATE the Lord of the Rings. HATED the books. HATED the movies. HATED HATED HATED.

So no, that's not it at all. It's just an easy screen name to remember that no one else has. I use 'jrgray' in some places but that is often taken. I'm not imaginative enough to come up with anything better like some of you. And I wouldn't be able to spell 'Bibbidy'.

Okay, JR now I really am lame. I thought your name was jrgary. Even when I know it's backwards, I still mispelled it! :rotfl: :rotfl:

sure...isn't your oldest my dd's age anyway?

Wow - I never heard of heating disks before. Just googled them and DH is probably going to love this for his outside cats! He already built them a cat house (which our friends LOVE making smart comments about...)

That's fun! We haven't been to Kalahari, but we've been to Wolf Lodge and Wilderness Resort there.

OK - I mentioned Electric Company last night and as usual, not a single response. I'm starting to think my posts are invisible  I loved it and my parents still often refer to me as "Easy Reader" because I read just about anything that is in front of me! I've even read the safety rules on the back of the hotel room door :rolleyes1

Maybe it is that I often am posting in the late night time frame ... I finally posted photos of 5 of the 6 cats late last night, but I don't think anyone saw them... (if interested it is at http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=17046855&postcount=22677)

Sorry, we only comment on photos of people's couches. Put your couch in the photos and then we'll comment. :rotfl:

not sure... mine is 13 now and will be 14 by the cruise.
I wonder how much it would cost to have her stay in your room... seriously, I'd probably save a BUNDLE. hmmmm, you serious?

The rugby team has aroom for all the hookers. Maybe they have some extra room?

I loved Autumn Berries, but we only had it in bitty sizes (also through the loops). Come to think of it, DD still wears the jacket as her outside play coat sometimes, even though it's way too short in the arms.

We hit our peak in the Leapin' Lilly Pads era (2002) but have moved on to other things....like giving our discretionary income to Mickey & Cinderella.

Remember to resell--Cotton Candy still gets good money on ebay from time to time.

I use to resell, then I donated & did a list to claim the tax deduction. After the yard sale last March I still had 4 big boxes of clothes & my friend had twins so I gave everything to her. She gives me her older DD's clothes so they will just cycle around. Actually DS's teacher moved across the street from her & she has 2 yo twins. They both have one of each so Laurie will start with the clothes & then pass them on to Monica. It is worth it to just get the stuff out of the garage...I don't have to hear DH upset about the boxes then. ;)

Looky here now. I'm not the hooker of the family. Jeff may be.. I haven't seen an updated rugby game list yet to see what his "position" is.
