Late to this conversation, but once your kid gives you that puppy dog face because they want something the other kids want it''s a whole new ball game! I swore before my dd was born that everyone could only call her Kaitlin. Well two days after she was born, ole grandpa started calling her Katie. And so it goes....

SWMBO has dictated DD will NOT be "Becky". I call her "Becca-Boo", which is apparently okay. Rebecca decided a month ago she wants to be "Becky". Mom has told her no. We'll see how that works.

My brother in law recently found out he had colon cancer. He is only 51. Well, today he found out that the cancer is contained - he is stage 1! Thank God it hasn't spread! We are unsure what is treatment is going to be but his prognosis looks good. Please feel free to send some prayers and pixie dust our way :).

Before his diagnosis I was able to get him and about 13 other family members together for a cruise planned for this upcoming August. We are doing the 4 day and this is his and a few others first cruise. It is going to be all the more meaningful now!

Mary

That is FANTASTIC!!! My MIL started out with stage 4 colon cancer in 8/01. She is still fighting it. :grouphug:

Well it's way past my bedtime! Good night all. Wow! I can sleep in tomorrow and nothing planned.:cool1:

I've still not been to a game at the Millenium Stadium, must fix that this coming winter. I should be back there in December this year.

Andy

For us it was surreal. My team, 35 players in all, went on tour to England and Wales for 6 days and Cardiff was one of the stops. The whole city closed down for game day (except for the pubs)
and the entire population just enjoyed a great day of rugby. The Welsh tied with Italy. After the game the city was one big party.

Confused here :hippie:

How can we play Where's Waldo and Hide 'n Seek with BIP all at the same time?:confused3

I'm really behind here, so if this has already been answered...so sorry

I don't think Waldo ever knew you were looking for him either.

Its so much better in person ----come here I get the honors........:rotfl: :rotfl:
You're just a big meanie! A meanie weanie in fact!
:sad1:
It usually does but there is nothing left up there to fix. It might end up being ok but not what I wanted at all. I am going to have to wait to see how it goes when I fix it on my own. I am going to get some head bands.

Oh man, that's the worst... short haircut with no possibility of cutting it more to fix it. I'm so sorry! :sad1:

Yes, not highly original. But I use it on a lot of boards so it makes it easy to remember vs. a Disney-ish name for here I would forget.

I had no idea, until this very moment. I had no idea what your username was. Never dawned on me that it was your name backwards!

Nothing worse than a bad hair cut! Darn now you have to grow your layers out. Sorry Pal :grouphug:

You know a good cure for growing out layers...Lisa....

Getting pregnant....

i grew out my bangs that way and evened everything up.

of course i would never advise the above....

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes! We are extremely grateful.

I have four little ones here tonight. My two and my two nephews.
Between feeding, refereeing and cleaning pee off the bathroom floor I am wiped out. I can't wait for them to pass out.:rotfl:

Mary

So you have a bathroom bat too? :lmao:

bat.gif

I have a feeling the wenches are going to REALLY love their rugby too:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I actually almost feel sorry for Andy walking into the middle of this and probalby wondering "what the fluff...." Sorry Andy....the conversation has deteriorated over time.......Its Pete's fault....:lmao: :lmao:

Compared to a couple of Jeep and desert BB's I hang out on, this is relatively coherent (especially with the little blue 'back' button) :thumbsup2

Arrghhh!

Andy

Yes, but if she did that her family would be over their stateroom capacity for this cruise.

Me either, me either.................

I thought it was some Lord of the Rings thing :lmao: :lmao:

I'm so lame...............

I HATE the Lord of the Rings. HATED the books. HATED the movies. HATED HATED HATED.

So no, that's not it at all. It's just an easy screen name to remember that no one else has. I use 'jrgray' in some places but that is often taken. I'm not imaginative enough to come up with anything better like some of you. And I wouldn't be able to spell 'Bibbidy'.

It is so wonderful that so many have rescued so many of their pets. I think they must make the most loving memebers of the family.
Paula

I totally agree Paula! It seems we all have quite alot in common. That's unusual for such a large group but it's AWESOME! I really think that this is why our thread is so big already. We all love DCL, we love pirates, love our partners and kids, love our pets, we love old shows and old songs, we love groundhogs, we LOVE good jokes, we love rugby and hookers, we love Evil Twins, we love Capt Dining and HAHA Dining, we love alcoholic and/or virgin cocktails, and we LOVE food....boy do we love food! It seems that we are all quickly becoming real friends! :grouphug:  :grouphug:
