That isn't MY romper room lady????? Someone once told me that they thought it was a locally produced show with similar guidelines. That might explain it.

Wow, that explains it! I thought my memory was failing me, but I could have sworn my Romper Room lady was quite a bit younger than the one in the picture. Clearly I also had a different RR hostess. I wonder how many there were?

I'm sure you always get the 'how do you know that?' like I do. For some reason things seep into my brain and stay there. I just haven't figured out how to make money off it -- I never could get onto 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' because my reflexes aren't fast enough to spit things out quickly.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Looks like the tag fairy was busy again today! :lmao:

I'm going to 'Godwin' this discussion of old kids TV shows in one fell swoop:

"I love you. You love me. We're a Happy Family. With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you. Won't you say you love me too...."

Ixney on the big purple beast that is not allowed to be talked about or seen in our home!!!!! :scared1:

So what you're saying is that you feel a little dirty and wrong for being here...instead of there???? :sad2:

No, I think I have a better chance of Palo ressies there, even though we have just three sea days in 11, rather than the DCL website crashing at 90 days before this cruise, even with so many sea days!
I have seven ports of call on the Med cruise, organised my own private limo tours in five of these, I will most likely book DCL shore trips in the last two ports.

The release date for Palos and shore trips will be around the end of April.

Have to get up early for 8am that day!

This trip will be more of an endurance test, than the relaxing Repo in 2008.

The last couple of hours, they actually had me doing.......

WORK!!!!! :scared:
Oh, the HORROR!!!! :sad2:

I'm just a bill yes I'm only a bill and I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill...

DD loves Interjections.

I can't believe noone has mentioned one of my favorites...

Elbow room, elbow room, gotta gotta get me some elbow room.
It's the moon or bust. In God we trust. It's a new world out there.

ooooh very nice.....which one?

Kalahari. I've never been to that one, but I hear it is the best one up their.

DS loves waterparks. He really loves Blizzard (the tobogan racer to be specific). I haven't told him we're going yet. He'll be surprised.

We never tell him when we're going somewhere. We went on a Western cruise in January and he didn't know until the shuttle pulled up to the port. We flew into Tampa this time, so he didn't connect Orlando with WDW. Then we had to drive awhile to get to port, so we told him we were driving back to the airport. He did see the ship when we came in to PC, but we said, "yeah, looks like it's in today".

I'll tell ya, it is hard keeping the secrets from him.

My DS would hate me telling this now that he is about to be a teen, but he loved the big purple one not to be named. I took him to a live show when he was two and all I could think was "How could I possibly be the same person who used to come to this arena to see the Eagles, Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, etc... Now I am here watching B***** (he who will not be named)."

Pop goes the weasel, and the Jack-in-the-box jumps out of his house, and that means it's time for the Romper Room school."

Oh I love tequilla, and my wife will drink nothing else

I hope they have a tequilla tasting.
You know what Joe Nichols says about tequilla. :lmao: :lmao: I can't believe none of you gutterminds said it first. I guess that makes me Queen guttermind. Mark, are you proud of me now?

When my kids were younger in 2003, I went to WDW for 10 days, by myself as my wife wasnt able to come, and pushed both of them around in a stroller all the time, thats the only time I lost weight at WDW.

Its a hard job, and only lost them once at the Contemporary resort,

True story? We lost our DD one year at Epcot. At night, during the parade. Not fun at all. 45 minutes of pure hell.

Thank you for taking control here. No purple in this house either.

We should wait for Lisa to be online to discuss this.

My vote is that Meredith can't be dead. She is seeing Denny & the bomb guy in a stereotypical NEAR death experience.

Besides, if they killed her off they'd have to change the name of the show to "Anatomy", and who would want to watch that?

I have to agree there. They can't kill off the title character...but they sure make it look like they come close. :( If she goes before Burke....I wont want to watch it anymore. I couldn't believe that Izzy was such a which to George last night when they all thought that Meridith was dying. I wanted to smack her!!!

Have you ever been to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX.....We go every summer. My kids love it there.....It is the one on the travel channel that always gets the #1 spot for Master Blaster.

Our April vacation usually doesn't fall on Easter week. It always starts on Patriot's Day. For those that don't know:

Patriots' Day (sometimes spelled Patriot's Day or Patriots Day) is a civic holiday in the U.S. states of Massachusetts and Maine (once part of Massachusetts), and a public school observance day in Wisconsin. Traditionally it was observed on April 19, in honor of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolutionary War, fought on that date in 1775. Since 1969, however, the holiday has been observed on the third Monday in April, providing a three-day long weekend.

Never knew Wisconsin observed that.

.

Let me know how you like it. We're talking about going up to the Dells in August. Never been. We usually just go to the water park in Lake Geneva.

Guess that I should share my few minutes of TV fame as a kid on one of those kid shows. You are going to crack up at who the hosts were. :lmao: A couple had a local kid's show with puppets and a mail box...the standard set up. I went on it and sat on the bleachers. I was 4 or 5 and the guy asked me if I would rather have a dog or a cat for a pet. All I did was pick a scab on my knee. OY! The name of the show?

The Jim & Tammy Show

Yes THAT Jim & Tammy before they got religeous. :lmao:

:lmao: That was too funny........was she all caked up with make-up back then too???

Of course I'm proud of you Honey !!!!

I only had 75 lbs worth of liquor in my suitcase. That was for a 7 day cruise.

How did you get that past check in security?????

You can take liquids/gels in ANY amount with a doctor's prescription...
