Is anyone else afraid that if we all end up deck 7 aft, we're going to lift the nose of the ship out of the water?

Nope. I've toured the bridge, and I know they have electronics to monitor that and make the proper corrections. Remember, we're sailing Disney, not Princess.

I didn't think about that...though I would have to repack it for the cruise. OY! Why haee I not realized before now that we wont be able to leave the pre cruise trip luggage in the car this time?

I've had angst about that since we booked. It is so much easier to do pre-cruise & post-cruise when the luggage can be divided ahead of time & the unused portion left in the vehicle.

If there were some way for me to take my van on the cruise with me, I would!

Somebody please tell me what on earth would you need Duct Tape for?
Kev thinks it's because handcuffs wouldn't make it through security.

Practically, luggage might tear & you can tape it up to get back home. If the doors are sliding in the closet you could tape them closed.

No, I actually bought 2 lanyards for the kids. FULL PRICE! They have enough pencils though. We have over 2 pencil boxes full. OY!

Poor DS ended up having a problem with this on CC the last day. I am going to have to remember to get some cream to keep this from happening to him. It put a damper on the last day for him.

There should be little cards left in your stateroom showing the amount of stateroom credit.

The incentive stateroom credits (given by DCL and the TA) are depleted first, followed by any stateroom credits that are purchased for you or by you as gifts. (I'm buying DH stateroom credits for each holiday 'til cruise time.) THEN the remaining balance is charged to your credit card. You can stop by guest services at any time to add cash or Disney Reward Dollars or even Disney Dollars to your stateroom account. If you do that, those dollars get used after the incentive credits and before the purchased credits.

Now I just gave myself a headache thinking about it.


As for charging your card, I believe they only do that at the end of the cruise. I usually let my CC company know that I'll be travelling and to expect a charge for stateroom expenses.

I think after your onboard charges reach something like $400 or $500 they will put a charge on the card you have on file with them. That's after your onboard credits have been used up first.

Mickey has alot of money invested in PC. Terminal is only used Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thursday. DCL wants to up passenger counts thru the already invested terminal. More heads thru terminal..........lower fixed cost per passenger........More money for Mickey !!!

Hmmmm, I am Captain of a ship ...Yes to the first. Yes to the second, but only insofar as we keep to the shallows as much as possible But Technically, I was only captain for two years, then I was viciously mutinied upon.
