Oy! I think I am about 3000 posts behind. Not as bad as thought being away for more than two days. Apparently I had an ovarian cyst that burst so I was in the ER on Tuesday night. Feeling almost back to normal today.:thumbsup2 Now to try and find where I left off....

Caroline, I had several trips to the ER in my younger days for the same thing. VERY painful and I'm sorry you had the experience. Feel better soon :flower3:

 Not sure how that happens BUT ... it reminds me of a funny story. Last year DH was home waiting for the kids to get home when our oldest (DS#1) walks into the house and DH says, "where's your brother?" Needless to say, DS bursts into tears. He'd noticed that his brother wasn't on the bus ... but wasn't sure who to tell :confused3

Come to find out Mr. Social (DS#2) was too busy chatting at dismissal time and didn't hear his bus called. DH and I read DS#2 the riot act for not paying attention. The next week we go to school for Open House. DS#2's teacher shows us that he's got his picture up the cafeteria because he received a "Citizenship Award" Seems that the day DS#2 missed the bus, the friends that he usually leaves the classroom with weren't sure which way to go once they got to the cafeteria because my DS is the one that leads the way each day.

Anyone else believe, like me, that I'm gonna have my hands full with this one? Instead of getting punished for not following the procedures MY SON gets an award :upsidedow

I am so afraid of that happening next year. DS10 is, well, forgetful. He's the one who forgot to go to school the other morning. Next year he is at middle school with his older brother and I KNOW his older brother WILL leave without him if he is running late because DS13 does not like to be late. It's not so bad now because the elementary school is almost in our back yard. Not so next year with middle school.

Don't do too much talking for the next 3 hours.:rotfl2: I have to go to the dentist.:sad2: Remember wenches the post is getting near.:thumbsup2

Didn't know we were doing spouses here too. (Don't go there, Andy -- just don't).

SWMBO is a technical account manager for a large monopolistic software company based in Redmond, Washington. She is currently dedicated to one of the nation's largest phamaceutical companies.

That sounds like something my kids would love.....you say you've only found it at DTD? I'm gonna do some searching here......

They may be obtainable on Amazon but if not let me know and I will pick you up one. Somebody has got to have them. I just have never seen them at Borders, B&N, or Books a Million.

I'm feeling extra sentimental about my lil doggies with Beau being sick and all....so I thought I'd show off my lil guys.....

Such beautiful pets!!
I'll have to post some pics of our furbabies...all cats for now. (We don't have much of a yard for a dog just yet)
But all 3 of our kitties were rescues...I'll tell the stories later when I post pics...

Guess what came in the mail today????

Got my confirmation from my TA and she even sent the 07-08 DCL planning DVD. :woohoo: I was going to order it, but never got around to it.

Edited - it's only the brochure, no DVD. I got too excited and didn't look at everything carefully.

AWWWWW....Does Pluto make doggie snow angels? Beau loves to do that. I adore Goldens, and would love to have one someday.

You need to let me know if it is worth it. I have the one from last year and wonder if it is updated at all.

All the Dave Barry/Ridley Pearson books are available from Amazon including the latest Escape from the Carnivale: A Never Land Book. My boys are so excited there is a new book in the series! I would highly recommend these books.

Monica--Does the 07-08 planning DVD have the Mexican Riviera ports on it?

I see we're talking jobs and pets today.

No pets, house is too small for an indoor cat or dog and don't really have the yard for one. We do have a hermit crab though. DS wanted something.

Job, Project Manager for a major telecommunications company. I'm on family medical leave right now. Will be going back either next week or the week after.

I was just listening to the radio and a song came on and I had a disturbing thought.

For someone who has been on this cruise before, PLEASE tell me DCL does not have NTWINE singing Van Halen's "Panama" as we enter the canal.

I will cancel my reservation right now.
