Good Morning all!

Happy Valentine's Day.

It's been a mix of sleet/freezing rain/snow all night. We're also under an ice warning till 10AM. I plan on heading into the office a bit later then normal. While I have a 4-wheel drive, it does nothing when it comes to ice.

Come on Spring!!!

Ever since Groundhog's Day, we've been thrown into the depths of winter!!!

So that's their strategy for dealing with irate guests when they miss CC?

Except it backfired on a few people. This was a Western and we missed both Grand Cayaman and Castaway Cay. By dinner time after Free Drinks, there was a line up at Guest Services. My friends and I sat in the lobby listening and laughing at all the people complain and basically what they were saying was that Disney should control the weather better.

Need to add: OU is also a fine academic institution with many nationally ranked programs including one of the top journalism schools in the country.

I often pondered this while crawling down Court Street at 2 a.m.

I am an Ohio State University alum, but I used to visit my best friend from HS at OU...especially for Halloween weekend & Springfest weekend. The thing I remember most about the campus is having to walk uphill all of the time! You must have gotten some pretty strong leg muscles by the time you graduated!

Hope everyone has made out okay with the "Valentine's Storm". In NE PA we were predicted to get about 12" and then the freezing yucky stuff. Well, it snowed a couple of inches and then started with the sleet. There's about 2" of ice down now. It's supposed to continue into tonight so there's no telling.

Right there with you matey. I couldn't even find my front walk to shovel it last night. Did cut some of the grass with my snowblower, though, in the process.

I have a DD who will be 8 next month and she is always looking for friends that she doesn't even know she has. Maybe when she visits Grandpa next time in Larchmont, when it is MUCH warmer, we can get the girls together for a mini-DIS meet!

I'll make sure I leave "War & Peace" at home and get the most up to date copy of "The World News", you know the one that always is showing some alien baby or where the latest Elvis siting was?

I took "1776" with me on the cruise in December. This is a book I had been dying to read, but had been waiting for it to come out in paperback. (Then SWMBO bought it for me in hardback for my birthday). I saved it for the cruise, figuring I'd have lots of uninterrupted time to get into it.

Never cracked the cover.

I laughed so hard when I read your post..I had the same Barbie..we cranked her arm one to many times tho... once the wires popped out thru her breasts... almost scarred us for life!
