WOW - way to go!

I was going to try and do the same thing!

You know one year my girlfriend sold her MHPPN (the acronym for Mickey Halloween Party, darn I'm tired) actually held on Halloween night for $900 for 5 tixs on Ebay. She paid around $150 or less I think. I gave her most of her spending money for the week.

I know that was a very un-Disney like story to tell and I hang my head in shame...........

I know go figure. On my way in this morning the radio was saying to expect it to start by noon.........Helloooooo still nothing. Hoping it stays that way. Usually when they call for a BIG storm its nothing....When they say flurries we get 2 feet.

We were told the sn*w would start around 1pm today, guess what, it started at 7am.

We Have An Official Blizzard Here

Right now, we're preparing for a Nor'easter. There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect until Thursday. My area near the coast is slated for 9-14 inches before it changes to sleet/freezing rain before it changes back to snow. Even a possiblity of thunder.

The powers that be at work (minus the head honcho) during their weekly meeting decided that at 7am tomorrow morning, if there is any snow on the ground, that has fallen from the heavens, that was not thrown up by ourselves and watched fall from the heaves, if there is any fresh snow on the ground at 7am tomorrow we can stay home. If it looks like it does now, we go in and they'll send us home early. Yes, they have to say all that. See, my brother is one of the powers that be and he's the one that asked, if I take a bucket of snow and toss it up in the air.... That's my brother. Here's hoping the weather reports are right and it starts snowing overnight!!

Thanks! The facepainting was actually done in Mobile, Alabama during the GMAC Bowl Mardi Gras Parade. She had her backpack to carry all her Mardi Gras Parade loot home....already a . My alma mater, Ohio University, played in the game. Mardi Gras + Ohio University (consistent top 10 party school) = The Perfect Party Storm.


She's 6 today and she had a snow day, so I took her and her older sis sledding. Katie only lasted two runs, on the second run, we hit a snow drift and Katie had a face full of snow. No pics unfortunately.
