Sorry if this is old news... but, they are now showing availability for a cat 9 gty and the price is only $575 more than I paid when I booked at 9:00 on the 31st!

I think my booking was made near 9am too (EST) for a cat 9 quad - and the price difference when I checked about an hour ago was about $3000 more. Near 45% more then what I paid BEFORE applying my on-board rebooking discount.

Perhaps you should double check your numbers... :confused3

I knew the wenches would be up for the challenge!!!!

Game on Swabbies

I'm gonna have to leave in a few minutes to get my kids - (groan) - it's not like I don't wanna sprint to 20,000 by 2-13 2:30PM... I just can't stay the whole time here all day... :confused3

With new availability showing has anyone new joined our thread today?

I can't either Crash, gotta work to pay for the cruise.....but..........we can have fun trying!!!

Here's a post to push us one more closer to 20,000. Good luck to all that will try to score that post. Lois

Oops ... forgot to change it to 2 adults. So it was $575 more for 1 adult. When I added the 2nd adult it was $2000 more, but wouldn't let me deselect air. I tried to go in again and it now tells me it's full?

I'm confused :confused3

So tell me I see over the last couple of pages that cabins are becoming available. Did this just happen this afternoon.

Or...........did cabins open up because people start to cancel when they heard the Swabbies would be playing naked Rugby on CC :lmao: :lmao:

Nicely done>:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well...

... I just double checked DCL's site again... they're still showing only a cat 9 - and I can't get beyond the initial quote page. SO I can't see what they've tacked on for the "vacation insurance"... and the $9500 price inclused that - so My savings AFTER SUBTRACTING an estimated $400-500 for the unwanted Vacation Insurance means I'm still saving about $2600-2500 versus current prices. And that is without factoring the rebooking benefits or the cabin credit contribution from my TA.

So... I have no complaints. IF the price is LESS for anyone... then NOW is the time to call DCL and secure a price adjustment... right? :confused3

Well now...

.. now that's real interestin' cuz we usually use hotwire - and never have considered price line for a hotel. $59 a nite is DIRT CHEAP for the Hyatt. We've stayed there and at the Crown Plaza in the last year and we like 'em both. The CP has an especially nice breakfast buffett - included FREE if you're a GOLD member of their frequent stay club IN ADVANCE of your check in. We generally spend about $75 on Hotwire for these kind of properties... which clearly is less then the Disneyland properties - and they are not quite as convenient since you can't walk directly in and out of the amusement park to your hotle lobby like you can with say the Grand Californian. I've stayed there ONCE... and it was nice. We did it when the youngest one was really young and we wanted to visit California Adventure for the 1st time. Pricey - and potentially worth doing at least ... ONCE. And... it would have been much better to do if we had more kids who were older in retrospect... :confused3

We were routinely getting the Hyatt for $69 and for the fun of it the last three times we've gone DH tried $59 and got it. We usually decide that day to go up so are bidding for same day check-in. I find that makes a huge difference in how low you can bid.

We're staying at Château du Nana for free because she's not going to let me live if we go anywhere in SoCal and not let her see her grandbaby! But the rate is good so I guess we have no complaints ;)

That's the best rate you can find -- and meals are often included, as well!

Well... maybe NOT after all?!?!?

Well... I gotta go now...

C-Ya later ~ whom-ever is up for the nite shift....

Before I forget.....I managed to snag the two Cat-4s and get the DCL confirmation email at 6:18am (PST) on the 31st. At that time the 1st room (2 Adults, one 7yr old) was $10,313.72 and the 2nd room (2 Adults) was $8,802.45 and a nice total of $19116.17  (insurance included - no air).

Anyway, that's one more toward the 20K :thumbsup2

I said don't worry, we actually seen DD's temp at 106.7, of course she was 6 at the time. Anyway, she pretty miserable today, she's taking Tamiflu and Bioxin and we are on FLU alert around here!

Hope you're all having a nice day!

Oh no! Very scary! I hope she's feeling better soon and will keep her in my prayers!
All this junk going around (I'm hearing it everywhere) is making me kinda scared- especially if it's the flu. We all had flu shots EXCEPT our youngest, because where we got the flu shots (at my husband's employer's clinic) they only allowed shots for those age 8 and older. So our youngest is the only one that didn't end up with a flu shot. I wasn't really worried about it- and we only got the flu shots because they were free otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. But now everyone talking about the flu going around... :scared1:

Anyway, that's a pretty high temp. That WOULD make me poop a brick if my youngest had that temp. Praying your daughter gets well soon!

:lmao: The only thing that I could think of when you first posted the question portion of this joke was "Amish Drive-By Shooting".

Which, as many probably know, would be the answer to "What goes thump-thump-bang-thump-thump"?

Okay ...actually price difference is $1600 give or take .. cat 9, 2 adults, no transfers, no insurance... that makes :teacher: about a 36% increase in 2 weeks! A great big thank you to my TA ... Now I've got something to look forward to after the Med. I told my boss about it today .. and he thinks I am totally nuts ... But agrees that it will be a trip not to miss. I picked up a Spanish - English dictionary today for the Med trip. I figure it will come in handy for Mexico next year! (Plus for Cartegena!)

Isn't it "What goes clip clop clip clop bang bang clip clop?".

Horses I believe clip clop...not thump thump unless the horse fell?
