
Not sure how that happens BUT ... it reminds me of a funny story. Last year DH was home waiting for the kids to get home when our oldest (DS#1) walks into the house and DH says, "where's your brother?" Needless to say, DS bursts into tears. He'd noticed that his brother wasn't on the bus ... but wasn't sure who to tell
Come to find out Mr. Social (DS#2) was too busy chatting at dismissal time and didn't hear his bus called. DH and I read DS#2 the riot act for not paying attention. The next week we go to school for Open House. DS#2's teacher shows us that he's got his picture up the cafeteria because he received a "Citizenship Award"

Seems that the day DS#2 missed the bus, the friends that he usually leaves the classroom with weren't sure which way to go once they got to the cafeteria because my DS is the one that leads the way each day.
Anyone else believe, like me, that I'm gonna have my hands full with this one? Instead of getting punished for not following the procedures MY SON gets an award
