Morning pirates..:surfweb:

We got some more snow last night but not as much as the NE is geting today. Schools are open so the kidlets are not off as they hoped to be. DH is flying to PHX to day but his flight is stopping at KCI and DENver before it goes to PHX.. I feel sorry for him that he ahs to spend his day in the air and at airports.

Off to start work.. anything I missed in the past 200 pages?

Except it backfired on a few people. This was a Western and we missed both Grand Cayaman and Castaway Cay. By dinner time after Free Drinks, there was a line up at Guest Services. My friends and I sat in the lobby listening and laughing at all the people complain and basically what they were saying was that Disney should control the weather better. :confused3

Was this a western in 1/05? I was on one that missed both ports, offered free drinks and then a few fights broke out.:scared1:

Of course you will look great! pirate: There are always people who see you in the hallway on the way to dinner & ask if there is something pirate going on that night. :rolleyes1 Even if they didn't spend any time researching the cruise before boarding...they could at least have looked at the blasted navigator!!!

I just tell them we are real pirates and demand their wallet and jewelry.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Oh, why didn't I think of that. No need to explain how they are in two places at once, they just flitter back and forth on an helicopter. Genius!

But it gets real messy when they don't get back by midnight and the helicopter turns back into a pumpkin.

I thought MR was going to give all of the participating adults an assignment. We must each smuggle a bottle onboard, plus a pack of batteries.

We really do need to find out if the port will let us bring bottles on board or if we need to smuggle the wine/et al in our luggage..

Good Morning All!

Well I'm kinda in a holding pattern this morning. At the very least I will be going into work late. I don't live all that far from Andy and we have alot of ice. Given my 12 mile drive to work. I'm petrified to drive on ice! I also hate to blow one of my precious few personal days BOOHOO. So maybe it'll clear still........

Stay warm, safe & dry everyone!

4) If you could fly anywhere for a day - one day - all expenses paid - where would you go - what would you do if naming ONE thing while on this travel fling? Tokyo, Disney of course. :goodvibes

Two summers ago, I had to make five trips to Tokyo for business. On the last one, I extended my stay until a Sunday with the plans of going to Tokyo Disneyland. A typhoon hit Tokyo and we all stayed indoors. This turned out to be my last trip there due to changes in business priorities. If I had known, I would have gone anyway, Typhoon or not. It makes me sad just thinking I had the opportunity that summer on multiple occasions but never took it when I could have.

Hey... I've got my spouse cornered here - and here are HER replies...

1) What is your FAVORITE SMELL??? Strawberries

2) What are you having/HAD for Dinner tonight? Baked Chicken with a white sauce (she didn't liek the sauce and scrapped it off), Carrots and a salad.

3) If you could have ANYTHING for dinner tomorrow - what/where would it be? Live Dungeness Crab cooked Chinese style with ginger and green onions, and some veggies!!! As for where... any of several good Chinese restuarants in Los Angeles or Monterey Park/Alhambra

4) If you could fly anywhere for a day - one day - all expenses paid - where would you go - what would you do if naming ONE thing while on this travel fling? Hong Kong, and I would do a shopping spree (Crash interjecting... my spouse is a size 0 or 2 petite - so in HK she can walk into any store and find everything in her size... including some nice well made clothes, not to mention everything else you would expect in any big city.) ;)

5) Who is your FAVORITE Disney Character? Chip and Dale

6) What is your favorite number - if yo have one? 4 or 8

7) What is your astrological sign? Gotta find an image to post if you're handy at things like that too! Capricorn

Ok, this post is borderline not-safe-for-work. I have no desire to wake up in the morning and see Chip-and-Dales. :rotfl:
