8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 4

Hi everyone- My family will be joining you on the EB Repo as well. We were on board the Magic on the 31st, so we booked while on board- Actually I was at the pool while Leslie, the sales manager, booked for me! I have been lurking the boards almost daily since our first cruise in 06, but i rarely post as most questions are usually answered already! On the repo, it will be myself, DH, DD now 6 and DS now 3. I just hope I can keep up with the posts. When I returned last week, I never dreamed the thread would be this long! Better jump in now before I really get behind. Looking forward to cruising with such a great group!

Time to go clear the end of the drive. The plow has now come through a second time.

We didn't get any snow, it is just them clearing all the drifts because the winds have been strong.

Just hope one of the snow blowers starts. On Monday, neither one did. Had to shovel it and it wasn't light.

Rationalize anyway possible! Remember "Trip of a Lifetime"

We're rationalizing based on saving on inside cabin, nearly $300 OBC/rebates from TA, no-cost airline tickets (BIL is a pilot), and low cost travel insurance (I get discount because my company owns one of the popular travel insurance companies).

Andrew, do you log on early in the morning?

I ask, because at the pace we're going (about 2 hours behind yesterday) the 15K Pirate may happen at about 7:00 a.m. GMT. Most of the US Wenches will still be sleeping. Maybe you could steal that one for us.

It will also be the 1,000th page of this thread.

Now if there is a lot of chatter tonight, it may fall earlier, but it looks like we rund about 26 to 27 hours between Pirates.

I will be back at work tommorrow so most likley will not be able to visit, but I bet you have issued them a challenge now and as you get near the 000 it will go faster!

I remember that viewing gallery, with a commentary all the time, I had a starboard side room so was close to it, and they were all shouting at us.

Cheryl, our TA told us yesterday that most everyone will be receiving a room assignment by this weekend. We used All Seasons in Florida. So that may give you some hope. Others in our party received room #'s yesterday. We're still GTY.

Did you get the impression your TA meant EVERYONE or just everyone with All Seasons? (Can you tell I'm anxious for a room assignment too )

I think it would be cool. I have my Stitch antenna topper and hey I'm gonna give it a try.

The insurance company told me last time that since DH has a medical condition we wouldn't be covered if we didn't take it at the beginning.

Wow, so no pre-existing wait period. Then I would definitely get it now.

Luckily we don't have anything, but I may look at getting it this weekend (still within the 10 days). With a trip this big, I want to have all the bases covered.
