Contestant #1 "Gee, it sounds like fun, but I don't know - could be a car in the next showcase"
Bob - "We need an answer"
Contest #1 "Okay, I'll bid - $1,000,000"
Back from Commercial Break

Bob "Okay contestants, whoever is closest in price w/out going over wins - if you are within $100 you can win both showcases. Contestant #1, you bid $1,000,000 - the actual retail price is $1,000,000 - YOU WIN BOTH SHOWCASES!"

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
GREAT addition!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info. DCL said pay no attetion to the boards when I told her people were starting to receive room numbers. DCL said people just make up their own stories. :lmao: I am happy with a CAT 5 but if DCL would like to give me a CAT 4.:woohoo:

This lady needs some pixie dust to make her wish come true....

I cannot keep up with the thread but did catch this post and love this idea - what about visors?

also - I know long ago everyone discussed trip insurance, can anyone point me to the posts? Search is not very friendly to me these days. Thanks!

Not sure the direct posts, but some that I wrote down to check into Access America, TravelGuard, insuremytrip.com.

I haven't decided what to use for myself. But for my parents, who are over 75 and need something that covers pre-existing, the insurance through DCL was the best. Everyone else wanted to charge double what DCL is charging.

I just checked and we are still category 6 GTY.

After the EB repo, we'll have been on the Magic 40 days and the Wonder 7 days.

We just put a deposit down yesterday to do the 7/7/07 11 Day Med cruise with my family and MIL.

Yep but I think CHUCK from all seasons would have the record, he has been given prizes on cruises I have been on inc the 2005 repo! He lives there, all that hard research for his agency!

Wish I could do that kind of "research" for a living  !! :lmao:

Thanks to everyone for your kind welcomes. I am not savvy with computers, but I will get DH to work on my siggie and such! I am Heather and my husbsnd Andrew and I will be making the repo our third Magic cruise. So with the repo we will be at 29 nights. I have been to WDW so many times I wouldn't know where to begin. We surprised our kids with last week's trip to WDW and the Magic. It is great on video! Only told them we were going to WDW for 2 days then home. Were they surprised when we got to the terminal! Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my kids faces while at Disney! We were able to get our room # because we booked on board and she handed us all of the paperwork. Can't wait to catch up and be a part of this group!

Lucky you!! I was wondering what it would have been like to try to book this while on board! Looks like lounging at the pool while the ressies were bing made for you is probably the record for easiest booking!! YOU WIN!!! :thumbsup2

Although I have to tell you...(notice, I could have edited the above post, but NO! I need to boost my post count. SO I'm making a new post!! Tee hee hee..)

Everytime I read "Trip of a lifetime", I hear this in my head: :lmao:

"Ed, tell them what they've won!"
"Sure, Bob! We're sending them on the TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!!
You'll arrive in beautiful sunny California, and from there, be whisked away to enjoy 15 sunny days and 15 glorious nights aboard the luxurious Disney Magic!
By day, you'll bask in all of the delights that the tropics have to offer! Prepare to dine in style as you feast on the smorgasbord of scrumptious offerings in the amazing restaurants aboard the Magic!
Then relax in the comfort of the spacious accomodations onboard the ship! Order room service anytime, day or night!
You'll visit exotic lacalles on your journey, including Puerta Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Cartegena, Aruba, and Disney's own private island, Castaway Cay!! And don't forget the passage through the Panama Canal!
This is indeed, the TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!!
And it can all be yours...IF the price is right!!" :thumbsup2

I love it....:thumbsup2

Gotta run out for a minute! BRB! Don't go too far without me! :lmao:

Oh great. I had only 2 pages to go through this morning, but now I have 20. :scared1:

DS's school closed again today, this time for no water. Maybe closed tomorrow as well. If so, he will be off 4 total days out of the last 6.

I'll check back after I get caught up.

I apologize in advance if I reply to a post that has already been replied to. With 20 pages, it's hard to read all and then go back.

But that's part of the fun of reading the thread!

Seeing how this thread has taken on a life of its own. What do you guys think of starting part 2 just for planning ideas? :confused3 We could leave this thread to get to know each other, which is very difficult now with the number of posts everyday. :jumping1: :disrocks:

Booking on board was a breeze! I was visiting her desk every day before Wednesday to make sure she knew I wanted to book! According to the DCL website, the reservation was started on Jan. 29th, so she must have had us in the system with IC, I guess.

I could always use some extra pixie dust. :thumbsup2 I noticed you went to DL Paris.
How did you like it?????:confused3 This is the furture for after the Panama Cruise.:cloud9: I never knew anyone that actually went there. Give us a few stories!!

DL paris is far closer to me just a train ride away. It is very good far smaller than WDW and a little bit smaller than DL CL, the rides are good.

Disneyland there is a full park, think MK at WDW, and Studios is a small version of MGM, but they test out rides here, and shoes, Lights cameras action came from DLP, then MGM, the backlott ride is small, but SPACE MOUNTAIN is the best one ( think more like Rock an roll rollacoster), Big Thunder mountain is better than WDW and DL, the ride is mostly on an island but the train goes under the water of the lake both at the start and the end, very good very dark!

Downtown disney is small, everything is compact, easy to walk to and the train station is under all of it, so 40 mins to cetral Paris.

I stayed in hotel New York, nice building easy walk through Downtown disney to the parks, the pool was good but cold and we had an inluded breakfast each morning that could be traded up to a character meal in the parks.

The Character meals are in my opinion not as good as WDW, few characters.

But its less of a endurance test than WDW, and easy to get around, Parades are good.
