Like I said .....Its a Challenge ...You could probably get the piping and sew it on in the pattern's and you have 18 months to complete ...LOL

Its an awesome costume thats for sure ...

pirate:

I bet you could get something from a costume company at Halloween - I think I might take this one on.

We're AF. The mess dress is similar to the above, but a very dark blue (looks black until it's next to black). With shoulder boards, and all the miniature medals on the left breast.

LOL My father is in the CG Aux and he doesn't want to dress up to go to formal or semi-formal night. After reading this, I told him just to wear his summer dinner blues. Didn't go over so well, but it would certainly solve some packing problems.

Cheers!

Jennifer

I'm the Admin Asst. for the Development Department. Other than working there, I'm not very involved in the SA. However, my brother is the DYS for NNE and runs Camp Sebago. My grandparents are retired ARC officers. My father is the organist and retired YPSM for Portland, ME Corps.

Cheers!

Jennifer

My DS works for TSA at the Texas DHQ Finance Dept.

It will be neat to have another "Sally" on a cruise. I promise not to talk too much shop though.

No theres not ....theres a bunch of different versions of ES ....You have Gold Dress ES - Plum Dress ES - Wedding Dress ES - Pirate ES and Asian ES ...Many to choose from ..though me DW has claimed Pirate ES and already am working on it ...LOL

pirate:

And as I am reading through I see that Asian ES looks to be taken, so I'm back to one of the earlier ES's (which is more up my alley anyway) - so I'll flip a coin with anyone over Gold, Plum or Wedding Dress ES.

Back to my Caroline impression and catching up...

Too late - you posted on this thread, all hope is gone!:lmao:

So here's the plan... Mine won't wear his uniform either if he's the only one. Which, I expect, will be the case with all of them. And this cruise is expensive enough without having the rent a tux. So, if we keep telling them that there'll be 2 or 3 others in uniform then they'll be more comfortable. No reason to tell anyone that no one actually wants to wear it...

he-he-he <evil spousal laugh>

5 Down, 500 and some odd to go....

pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
What's a Pirate's favorite kind of socks??
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:
Arrrrrrgyle!
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:

And some funny faces for the 5 year-old on my lap....
:dance3: pirate: :dance3: pirate: :dance3: :laundy: :scared1: :happytv:

Those are his choices, not mine. He and his older brother think the three dancing smilies are hysterical. They do the smilie dance in the kitchen whenever they see them.

:lmao:
And 552 more to go!:lmao:

DS5 has been playing with Legos most of the day - it's pouring here (for the last 3 days!) When I saw him racing this around the house with this I knew I had to share his latest creation with you!!

Notice the finer details of the creation... The fearsome pirate flag. The mast lights. The large and speedy jets on the back. :)

And here is the little craftsman...

You're gettin' a salute there Capt'n.

Oh, and he wanted me to be sure to tell everyone that the Pirate is NOT wearing a life jacket. He's wearing a DODGE Suit.

What's a Dodge suit you might ask? (Good question - I had to ask too.)

"When a bomb is coming towards the Dodge Suit. And it bounces on the Dodge Suit. It bounces off again."

Handy, that.

So nice to see the little ones getting in to the spirit already! Good job!

Hey whats up everyone. My name is Matt and I cant wait to go on the cruise. It's gonna be so much fun!

You are a girl! :confused3 :lmao:

Someone asked what the shirt at EE said that I should of gotten my son - my son screamed like a girl on the ride on purpose and thought it was great fun.

Hey Matt, welcome aboard. This is Jack, not the captain and not the monkey, but the bourbon. I will be on the TPC.

Evening everyone.

Skimmed through a ton of pages since this morning.

Congrats BBB on the 17K Pirate.

Andy (VM) I see you were off by one a lot on the mini's. :rotfl2: Up to your old tricks, huh?

Trust me, I won't talk too much shop either. But my mother just LOVES too. LOL She just retired in January from being the Senior Citizen Center Director for about 20 years.

Cheers!

Me and my DIS pal were talking pretty casually... it was obvious we were passing out treats and stuff to all the fish extenders - and we had boxes of stuff in our strollers... so he shadowed us for maybe 2 decks then left us alone. :confused3 He did look pretty serious when we first spotted him shadowing us... almost mean looking. He was definately some kind of security sort.;)

What's a "fish extender"?:confused3
